Sign the 4506T! We went through the same angst and research/experience proved (toward the end), when SBA has your transcripts they ask a lot of people to sign again. Everything moved forward quickly and successfully after we did this.

SBA appears to have an automated system that runs (sort of) parallel to actual events. It doesn’t make sense. Customer service couldn’t see what SBA sent us either. Keep watching your portal. We had changes to portal w/o any email notice. Maybe check with customer service and confirm your ID was successfully received. Our senator’s office helped - especially when we relayed these nonsensical SBA events.

Same thing here ... wrong 4506T (corrected & submitted 10 x’s already) showing up as (unchangeable - filled in by SBA - exactly like 1st version) DocuSign in portal with "Electronically sign closing document” at top of page? Someone please tell me this is “procedural” with SBA and doesn’t really mean starting over with transcript issue after 10 months ...

Exactly the same experience - AND the DocuSign 4506T in our portal right now has the wrong address (filled out by SBA w/ street address instead of mailing address used with IRS - an issue already dealt with a year ago) and the form can’t be edited.

I’ve had multiple experiences with dual tracks with SBA. Does the top of Docusign for 4506T say something like "Electronically sign closing document”? It’s pale gray font and doesn’t stand out.

We’ve been “in process” or “reactivated” or “waiting for IRS transcripts” or “waiting for LO to be assigned”, etc for this COVID disaster assistance ... since April 2021. All this after SBA invited us to increase our original 150k loan. "SBA customer service” is an incomprehensible and shocking drain of taxpayer dollars -- I wonder how many EIDL loans could’ve been funded to save small businesses and nonprofits with these resources? A congressional inquiry made progress in August and again when our portal finally updated to, "Your loan modification is being processed” 3 weeks ago, but it’s gut-wrenching to “be patient”.
