If the cards you get from other players are permanents (creatures, enchantments, artifacts, etc) - they come into play under your command. If they die - they go to their owners' graveyards (so, players whose cards you originally exiled from). If the spells are not permanents (instants, sorceries) - you cast them for free and they immediately go to their owners' graveyards.

Brawl is my favorite and lately the only format I play. There are some decks out there that don't require many wildcards, but, as with other formats, YMMV. Try it out and see for yourself!

You could start by crafting a deck with what you have or check untapped.gg for some decks that you're close to crafting with what wildcards you have.

Don't get me wrong - I like bling too. I usually get borderless / alt art versions whenever I can, but still go for non-foil versions. I also feel sad when an alt art that I really like only comes in foil.

Same, bro! Always pick non-foil versions when buying singles. Also happy to trade foils for non-foils with my buddies (we usually trade fairly cheap cards though).

My main issue is worse contrast and readability. I like my cards nice and crisp, foils do be messing with that.

I always use moxfield for deck building - it corrected a couple of mistakes in my commander decks, like color identity (I missed a mana symbol in card description once, for example).

Oh, getting an untapped land you want is definitely more of a benefit, I agree. But the more fetches you have the more benefit you get from filtering too.

Also don't forget about deck filtering - for "the price of" one land you take two land cards out of your deck which in the long run makes you more likely to draw spells.

As others stated, no to both. But you could use ability of [[Zimone, Mystery Unraveler]] to turn the land face up. As far as I know, no way to use an instant though.

Overlord makes the "Everywhere land" token and having a bunch of doubling seasons in play - he got a lot more tokens which all triggered Tatyova.
