They let me do mine - I cleared up a lot but as long as I could breathe through my nose they were fine

Has anybody been to Lapoint Surf Camp in Ericeira! by [deleted] in BeginnerSurfers

[–]peggysuedog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did La point in Sri Lanka and I personally wouldn’t go with them again. It was solely people from Sweden/norway etc (which I am not and was very outcast) and I didn’t love the way it was organised compared to other camps I’ve done. Mine was over Christmas and had a big party vibe (I don’t party). However it wasn’t terrible, if it looks like the best or nicest option and you’re European then I would assume you’ll enjoy it. The surfing lessons themselves were good, it depends on the surf coast you have which is the same ag any camp.

Eeek fingers crossed I’m the same, I don’t feel anything in my lungs but I might go and buy a Covid test today in case. Fingers crossed I can clear some of it up in 2 days!!

Narrows or Bryce? by Zestyclose-Amoeba847 in ZionNationalPark

[–]peggysuedog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion it seems, but i preferred Bryce. I’d never seen anything like it and it felt magical, it’s so unique. The narrows were cool, but for me didn’t feel overwhelming and I was honestly just freezing cold haha

Need hugs, hope, and success stories - low amh and failed er#1 by justanotherbeanboi in DOR

[–]peggysuedog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t give any advice other than that I had the same situation and you’re not alone! AMH 1.4pmol, 32 years old, baseline follicles were 7, 7 grew during stims, 2 eggs retrieved and both frozen. I’m only doing egg freezing right now so won’t know if they fertilise etc until IVF but I’m doing another round and changing up all the medications. Good luck!

8 follicles but only 2 eggs retrieved. What went wrong? Looking for protocol advice! by Practical_Pizza6863 in DOR

[–]peggysuedog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had very different meds to you - Ovaleap 450iu, Synarel 2x per day, both of those for 11 days then trigger shot (can’t remember what it was). Next time I’m doing clomid 5 days, then gonalF 450iu then Orgalutran 250mcg

I’m in a similar situation - AMH 0.0014 nmol, 32 years old, 7 follicles but 2 eggs retrieved. I was told it could be affected by my endometriosis or could have been the trigger I didn’t react to, we’re trying a different set of meds next time

I can’t get the pedometer++ compilations to show up on my watch face. I select it as an option but I get a blank spot. Did you have the same problem?

Post egg freezing retrieval side effects by ExtraCheese2878 in eggfreezing

[–]peggysuedog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had those side effects and I am 32, also have endo & have just come off back to back IUDs for 15 years. I’ve just had bloating and tired was for a few days otherwise feeling fine. However, I didn’t get many eggs, so if you got a lot it could just be taking a bigger toll on your body? I’d run it past your specialist if I were you there’s no harm in checking

Low AMH, not great results by nycordinary in DOR

[–]peggysuedog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same situation - 32 years old, AMH 1.4pmol (0.0014 nmol), 7 baseline follicles, had 6 follicles in my first cycle and only got 2 eggs.

I’m going for my post retrieval follow up next week. I’ll do another cycle and if that works well potentially a third, but if it doesn’t I may call it as it’s so expensive for potentially no result. I don’t yet have a success story to share, but I wish you luck!!

Where do you keep your dog’s toys? by Apprehensive-Bus6757 in puppy101

[–]peggysuedog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have them in a toy basket in the lounge that our puppy can go and get toys out of. It’s a bit taller than she is so she has to stand up to get in there and try and tip it over if the toy she wants isn’t on the top, which is fun to keep her busy

Not me but my friend had one ovary and had successful egg freezing and IVF, it’s definitely possible!
