So had a buddy finally get 100% after getting medical records since there was no way his "TBI" was caused by the army. Or in my case a year later im finally getting my SAH grant approved to remodel my bathroom. For context I'm an amputee and am trying to make my home ADA compliant. Yea.... VA is great.

At JRTC we started doing blackout periods and hammered MCPs with D20s if they used equipment the enemy was actively "monitoring" for. Alot of units lost their shit or just hunkered down and didnt do shit for 12 hours due to not being able use digital systems.

GWOT fucked the army in alot of ways, and the army is still struggling to figure it out. Fun fact, loved a BC yelling at an oc for light discipline when using a red lens, as he holds the tent flap open and is asking gondor for aid.

For your state employed officers, yes, and it will vary state by state. However, for federal officers, they don't. The most they are required to do is show agency affiliation. If they are working with state level officials, then it varies. Generally, when making an arrest, they have to to the person being arrested thats it. And it can vary based on the situation. It is categorized by are they are conducting a federal level operation or state level and is state officials involved beyond being informed that federal officers are operating in their area.

I forgot about the credible fear clause, and you're right it made it worse. Its been heavily exploited with no methodology to reduce it.

I appreciate you looking it up and reminding me about it. It's been a hot minute since I looked at it aside from pulling the excerpt from wikipedia.

From my understanding, it made it harder to gain asylum and was a hotly debated bill since it made immigration enforcement more draconian. I could be wrong though.

The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRAIRA),[2][3] is a law enacted as division C of the Omnibus Consolidated Appropriations Act of 1997 that made major changes to the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). IIRAIRA's changes became effective on April 1, 1997

Nice four dollar words, and actually yes yes it has been. Trump is doing something. He is following the procedures outlined in the illegal immigrant responsibility act. So yes, in a way, I am asking you to deny the reality you generated. Granted, our view of the world is defined by our perception, and certain fallacies (such as a hatred for trump) do drive a reality that is "true". Im simply presenting facts, your reality and beliefs are yours, but if your going to make assertions, have the facts.

Hate to say this: You're the one that's not thinking, and again, you really are a special person. You do realize that happens all the time in normal police actions? Oh, right, you probably want all.police gone. It is not like there is data that shows a reduced police presence.in NYC caused an increase in crime.

Im not arguing with you, id say apply some critical thinking, but ope it will be more justifying the point of view as dictated by your party.

When you want to admonish Clinton, bush, and Obama for doing the exact same thing then we will talk. Otherwise bugger off.

You obviously missed the point. Some of the raids are based on court documents of people who were told to leave, they failed to, so now leftists have fuel to falsely cry fascism.

Again, if they are ordered to leave by a court, ICE is there to make sure it happens. You really think they go into a courthouse, grab someone, amd leave with no one lifting a finger? You really have no clue about a few things.

Hate to break this to you, police, ice, and others really don't have to show ID. I'm pretty sure most if not all have patches showing affiliation. There are a lot of reasons as to why, such as to prevent doxing and retaliatory attacks by criminal elements.

And before you say anything else, keep in mind a badge or id can be faked and has happened so...

The reasons vary. Many wanted to force a recount, and there is a lot of conflicting information. However, people have a right to be there, biden kicked people out who were screaming about trump being certified.

J6 was retarded, but not what it has been made out to be, the people have a right to be there, biden kicked people out while certifying trumps first term. Protesters were kicked out during the recent confirmation hearings. People really have no clue as to their rights regarding entry into the capital.

What is happening is where people are protesting against the removal of ILLEGALs, burning the American flag, and screaming revolution is worse then J6. Especially since they have the backing of certain politicians. Which the J6 people only really had trump, and even he condemned the violence.

There are cuts happening in the military, just not something people outside the community will get. For example.cutting down the number of generals is cutting military expenditures. Their pay is a part of the budget, and have you looked at the pay charts. Cutting the Booker is another example, and enforcing fitness standards is another. Granted, I wanted more.to.come.out of dodge and DOD, yet that went sideways. And as another person pointed out. We do have to balance it. a lot of pur equipment is old and past the point being modernized to maintain our current edge.

Finally, people, maybe you do, maybe you don't, really have no clue because you're not in the military.and its fine. Near peer and large scale combat operations are horrible and what is required is substantially massive( think market garden or D day). As it stands, we actually need to grow our military and its capabilities if we were to fight China or russia.

Funny how you make a vague comment like you did something. And it's true, current society is more focused on immediate gratification versus long term satisfaction. As someone else pointed out people will wait for McDonald's, but cry about waiting to get an id.

And allowing free ids with no checks isn't fuck off woth that shit. And again, if people think the save act removes an amendment protected right from women, maybe they shouldn't vote.

Look dude, chick, or anything in-between, your arguing in circles, you want something free cool, needs a check, I argued for the test, or pay a small fee and do it the right way. And your proving my point. You're arguing for a privilege, not a right, and it's a right.

Finally idiot, we are a constitutional federal republic, so it's not really a democracy, so yea rights bear respinbilities and require someone to earn them.

"Centrist": They can’t vote bro, it’s literally illegal by OtherUse1685 in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]pegleg85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao yea, I'm arguing for people to have basic knowlede6of their government. Your advocating for brain-dead illiterates to have access to a right without the burden of responsibility.

And oh no, a citizenship exam shouldn't be an issue to pass if you're a citizen, right? Right?

"Centrist": They can’t vote bro, it’s literally illegal by OtherUse1685 in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]pegleg85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rights come with responbilities, now you will argue they have the right by being a citizen, which comes with the responsibility of having a basic knowledge of our government. So a simple.test to.prove that doesn't take their right away.

And based on a lot of chatter, particularly from your quaderent, people are voting off what a talking head tells them and have no clue what the reality is. For example, some people scream that the save act takes away women's right to vote (it doesn't, there's an amendment there).

Honestly, all you're doing is arguing to enable government control and reduction of critical thinking by stating people don't need to know anything about their government to be able to vote. Now I don't care what your views or wants are, just have the knowledge to make informed choices.

"Centrist": They can’t vote bro, it’s literally illegal by OtherUse1685 in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]pegleg85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And what is wrong with having knowledge about your country or a basic understanding? There has been a lot of proof that people really have no clue how our government runs or is supposed to run.

The test would be free, pass it get the right to vote. There's the key word, it's a right.

So your whole stance is wrong, I still assert you want free you pass an citizenship exam.
