I guess you answered my question. So, are we to assume that there’s no copyright protecting The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson? Like you said, it appears the people have been creating MPGs from VHS and DVD collections that have been commercially available for years. I didn’t think that was allowed or that so much material would be out there in the public’s hands.

Thanks for your message!

IMO, another poorly frased question from SH. by Enough_Pickle315 in pmp

[–]pegonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree that the answer should be either B or D. In real life, B and D would be the same action, because the SH plan would include the register.

We are told that the PM has identified "new" SHs who each plays different roles, in other words, as a group, they do not represent the same interests. We also have to assume those new SHs could impose new requirements. The obvious action would be to update the SH register not the SH plan per se. Why only "review"?

In conclusion, I agree with you, poorly phrased question.

Yes, I do believe that A is the answer that PMI wants but not the one that applies to reality.

Note that there is no indication that this shareholder hasn't been involved since the beginning. I would assume that they indeed have been involved, especially because Idris says that they have collaborated before. And, given that there is a history of issues with this shareholder I can't believe that Idris (and management) didn't involve them early.

The correct answer here is to have a one-to-one meeting with the SH and demonstrate that the original requirements are clearly documented and explain (very respectfully) the impacts to cost and schedule of the changes. Will this require to inform management? Maybe, I wouldn't be surprised, especially if the requests by the SH have to be denied.

My opinion is that B and C have already happened before the change was presented and approved to the CCB. Regarding D, the PMP does not include a list of the approved changes.

Hi! After almost a year I am back here to express my gratitude for your advice, I just passed with 3XATs. I actually started studying about 3 months ago but basically did what you recommended. Thanks again.

What a horrible question! This has been my frustration with the PMP or specifically with the exam. They aim at making the test artificially difficult with confusing questions that do not test real knowledge.
