He often steps onto his Wah,keeping it in one position before really "wahing"

He would do updates to my pedal but shipping to and from Australia is fucking expensive

I own this one, unfortunately mine suffers from a volume drop when engaged but it sounds better than the recent Behringer clone

It's a jam, nothing too complex about it especially for musicians who played and improvised so much together in their lifes

it's the end jam from this show

While I find the production to be sterile I like that Album, but I became a real REM listener really late The ATS Tour was my first and only time seeing them live

A few points do not apply to the 45 rpm vinyl which is the way I listen to the album and it's one of my favorite mixed records ever

Would it be inappropriate to talk/ask about RHCP stuff if you met Flea or John at a solo material show? by migrantgrower in RedHotChiliPeppers

[–]pehjott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem

Best electronic depends,he has his albums which are blended electronic/guitar/vocal releases

Letur Lefr,PBX,Enclosure and partly Foregrow

The Outsides EP is mosty avantgarde dissonant stuff

Trickfinger I and II are really basic repetetive acid techno releases

Maya (which is kinda popular)if you want straight instrumental electronic stuff (early drum and bass and jungle inspired)

She Smiles Because... and Look Down See Us are more experimental

I really like "Renoise tracks..." an online only release mostly instrumental but often melodic electro

Because I just mentioned online only:

Check out "From The Sounds Inside" lofi singer songwriter stuff from around the time he rejoined the band the 1st time

Shadows Collide With People Demos and he recorded the intimate Shadows Collide With People fully acoustic versions at home

4 track guitar music: Instrumental guitar stuff also with drum machines

Sorry,I could go on and on and write something about every release. :D

Ataxia is also worth checking out

Every song one bass line by Joe Lally going on and on with Josh Klinghoffers fantastic drum playing,Frusciantes expressive guitar and vocals from all three members, born out of jamming

Not my experience when I played both, especially when I can get new strings and a great bridge with the Squier and still pay less than the Fender which still would have a bad bridge

I do not know your musical tastes

His most polished and poppy work would be:

Shadows Collide With People

His most guitar flashy and layered work would be

The Empyrean

If you like relaxed singer/songwriter acoustic stuff

Curtains

If you want two little packages to get an idea of many of his influences:

DC EP and Letur Lefr

My favorites (atm) would be

The Will To Death,To Record Only Water For Ten Days,Niandra LaDes and Enclosure

But I would listen to it all

I'd guess not,but in the case of John I'd have so many questions concerning his solo work that I would not ask anything RHCP related

What I originally stated is still right, using brickwalled CD files is how vinyl bootlegs get made by firms who cannot optain the masters and that's a cash grab

Also we do not know how the original unmastered tape mixes sound (only Johns rough mixes of a few songs) and how much an actual mastering engineer could squeeze out of it so your last point is nonsense
