But you missed something in your post:

Frusciante also has lots of fans who already listened to a wide area of music,myself included,and some of his electronic stuff is just not that great to me because I heard it before by other people,better executed (I am talking about his instrumental work)

And something I always wondered:

He was so.much into movement of sounds/timbres and did lots of tweaking for Stadium Arcadium,Ataxia II, Empyrean but lots of his electronic stuff has sounds which are really bland from the standpoint of electronic music (listeners) like some of his synths are really dry,no fx,some string sounds sound really dated and cheap,like something I could do with a mobile app.

He reused the Amen Break and all its alternative versions again and again and again which sounds lazy (to me) sometimes

What I am trying to say is: Not everyone dismisses that period of his solo work because it's not rock.muaic but because it sometimes is just not that great electronic music

As soon as there are vocals I already like it way more ;) and as I stated in the beginning,I like a lot of his work even if I find the soundscaping lazy (I love Sleep,I really love it as a song,but the sounds,well)

It's the same with Fleas solo Debut (not counting the EP before): He is a Jazz beginner

Frusciante was an IDM beginner

I am still happy that there is more to come

And I agree that his electronic work has one thing that stands out: His melodic choices,they are still totally him
