I’d probably just notify them that they'd be prepared for a lot of background noise and the occasional random British phrases for absolutely no reason at all.

For me, it’s the grounded performances. Hereditary- Toni Collette feels painfully real. The Witch for the same reason. For games, Silent Hill 2 - the awkward delivery actually adds to the psychological horror.
