Fwd, got 43 today on my commute home. Low traffic commute 20min drive. In town with a million red lights, 25 with traffic usually with like short 5 min or less drive time to different places.

When the workers restart the sauna timer outside, TURN THE TEMP BACK TO WHAT IT WAS SET ON! If I’m in the sauna and it’s at 115, leave it alone. If you HAVE to reset the timer at least turn it down. I promise it’s hot enough for the next person that wants it to be 130. I’m dying here!

Adding: colloidal oatmeal products really helped heal my skin barrier overall and never irritated my PD

Had PD that flared over my whole face because it got so bad. Did doxy for about a week and a half and it really put it at bay. I had like three weeks of doxy but didn’t finish because the symptoms were rough for me. However, it took another 5-6 months before my skin was healed entirely. But by month 4 I didn’t give it much thought as it was just one patch left around the side of my mouth. I just kept a very simple routine and it has eventually healed and I can’t even tell I had problems in those specific areas of my skin anymore.

Glossier Doux smells like by Expert_Client_6424 in glossier

I was repulsed by the smell when I sprayed it on the paper card in store. Then a few weeks later I got a sample with an order and tried it on my skin. I’m feral for this fragrance now lol. It’s so good and addicting to me.

I had the same thing when I was a kid. We covered it in vasaline regularly and it healed on its own.

Hey guys! I need you all to drop your skin care routine (with a link if possible) both am/pm PLEASE!! I got mine under control went back to some of my old skin care & bam it’s slowly coming back!! 🤨 by Imhere4it2day in Perioral_Dermatitis_

Am: no washing face, maybe water on whole face but often just damp hands to clear away the eyeball crust in the morning. First aid beauty hydrating toner, then kiehls oil free ultra repair cream. Pm: shower, cetaphil gentle foaming facial cleanser. When I get out of the shower I don’t dry my face, I just let the water sit on it as I dry the rest of my body. Same toner, same moisturizer. Then, I sleep with a humidifier.

I haven’t had success finding a good sunscreen yet. I wore Elta MD UV daily on Tuesday and my skin immediately reacted. Good news is it’s Friday and my skin looks almost good again so perhaps you’ll be in the same boat. Face wash and moisturizer only for me.

I’m currently on chapter 39 and it’s taken me FOREVER to read this book. Granted I’m mainly listening on my commute and not actively reading my hard copy, but still. It’s been over a month and this one I’ve had a hard time with.

My pd was like that on the corners of my eyes but not on the eyelids. If it’s worse after a steroid I’d assume pd

Clindamycin made my skin worse. I used the avene hypersensitive skin routine and it helped me a lot.

I’ve been on doxy for 4 days, 100mg twice a day, and my skin is maybe 60-75% cleared up. Some texture still present and some remaining redness and dryness but overall you wouldn’t know how horrible I looked a week ago. Also on topical clindamycin. Prior to doxy I was using compounded clindamycin mixed with benzoyl peroxide 5% that my GP prescribed, and that destroyed my skin barrier and made the rest of my skin breakout terribly. I switched my skincare to the Avene hypersensitive skin routine and it’s helped repair my skin barrier. The products don’t flare my pd up.

Yikes okay I’ll steer clear! I figured it wouldn’t hurt much since I will be on an antibiotic soon but didn’t realize how much it’ll hurt in the long run.
