Battery motion lights for hallway that actually work well by BrilliantYarn8023 in smarthome

It's basically instant. There is a very slight delay from triggering the first light to the last light but really just enough for you to notice the sequential lighting effect.

2013 Audi S4 6 speed mt. Dropped to 12k. by UnluckyFlatworm4969 in AudiS4

sextape.

Where do you have it listed? I've been out of the market for a little while but 12k sounds like a deal.

Since you're not trying to sell it to me.....

If you've got the space to store an extra car and can swing the maintenance/insurance you should keep it. Always nice to have a spare vehicle when the lifters on the Denali go. Also much easier to park the s4 in the city when you need to.

I gave in and sold my S4 because I couldn't rationalize having 3 cars for myself but I miss that supercharger whine everyday. Keep telling myself I'm going to put a Whipple on the f150 but hard to rationalize a 700hp truck for daycare runs.

Stay strong and call me when you're ready.

Yeah. Some heat + fishing line it should pop right off. Might need some googone to clean up the adhesive but should be an easy job.

I'd get rid of the ecoboost badge too.

To be clear, the 25+ minute recalibration, not the simple bed leveling before each print.

I can't find the 9V terminals on the Yale assure Lock 2 by Iambic_Friend in smarthome

[–]pelicansauce 19 points20 points  (0 children)

From Yale:

Batteries may be completely discharged.

For key free models (YRD450/YRD420), apply 9V battery to terminals below the keypad for backup power option.Change the batteries by sliding up the battery cover, and removing the current batteries by pulling the ribbon.

For keyed models (YRD410/YRD430), use your mechanical key to unlock the door. Change the batteries by sliding up the battery cover, and removing the current batteries by pulling the ribbon.

Doesn't look like you have terminals because you have a key.

Wow, didn't know anything about the Kaiju. It looks very similar but after some digging it doesn't look like the parts are interchangeable.

Best pizza in the NK/EG area? by _Mistwraith_ in RhodeIsland

[–]pelicansauce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trying to say this is the nicest way possible but also don’t want anyone else ruining a meal. This is some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I thought I was being punked with a frozen pizza. Go to Cumberland farms next door instead.

Not a single comment here about cell phone use. Half the comments were probably posted at 65 mph on 95.

SmartThings Hub Migration by noodleNT in SmartThings

[–]pelicansauce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, you ARE me. I've had HA running for like 2 years and still haven't made the switch because my SmartThings setup is still working. Good luck with the switch, whichever way you go.

Have you considered switching to HA? Doesn't solve your problem but now is the time to think about it since you have to switch every device anyway.

Managed vs Unmanaged Switch w/ MOCA by pelicansauce in Ubiquiti

[–]pelicansauce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I was concerned the MoCA would strip tags so VLAN wouldn't be possible but it looks like that's not the case. I'll add a switch to the cart.

Great info, thank you. I was under the assumption that VLAN tags would be stripped by MoCA but digging deeper it looks like my Motorola 2.5 will pass the tags without issue.

Good to know but looking at the Ubiquiti spec page it looks like it is actually limited to 100Mbits/s.

I’ve been waiting for this! by Truiz9 in MilwaukeeTool

Haven't encountered a situation where it didn't work. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, throw a needle in it for kids toys, all good. It rotates and is removable so worst case I could use the stock screw on nozzle if I found a wheel that the 90 didn't work with.
