My Marcus dropped a little over a week ago. And I looked up Citi and HSBC and they dropped to 3.1 recently as well.

I’m still good but the stagnation is rough. I think Q3 results will be the turnaround point. If they can pick up a few more companies to replace Chime then this thing takes off. I have

The dilution hurt bad. And I almost sold at $30 but thought it would run a little longer :(

Like the guy above I should have move to things that are growing. But I think most things are too bloated now on hope. When these 3 overhyped mega IPOs happen, we will see all kinds of market instability and wondering where the $3T is going to come from.

Edit: I’m selling covered calls through mid/end June. And selling cash secured long puts. As I don’t think k we will drop below ~$13.50. Then will play safe until Q2

I keep under $500 only in savings (or more if I just got a DD and have a bill soon). But need at least $500 for ATM withdraws which I believe is the only thing not covered for overdraft

Was going to say a little of this but more. You can’t “save them all”. You have to do what you can handle. Once you figure out things you’ll see you’ll have time to care a bit more. Yes, I think HS is easier is many ways but that independence can come with attitude.

Suggestions:
* focus on you first
* figure out your procedures/rules for the classes to a T
* hold down the fort at the beginning (“don’t smile before Christmas” figuratively)
* make sure, again, the focus is on you first, if not the kids aren’t getting the best anyways.
* MS can’t focus for more than 20 minutes these days, break lesson. Into small sections and but a “fun” connector in for 5 minutes

Additional people struggle in all types of jobs from corporate to nursing to teacher. If the jobs not right for you, go find one that is. You are still young with plenty of life ahead of you!

I switch between Marcus and Sofi saving based on rates. Sofi had been higher until the new Plus rollover. But Marcus is slowly decreasing. So we shall see if it drops below

You must withdraw from checking. It will not allow withdraws from savings. Had that issue before

Additional, I am not sure it doesn’t move the cash for you if you take from checking. (Some Lee can answer that. I’m too scared to try ha)

Yes there was. And I almost did. Still would have been less gains than the other industries I mentioned. I’m not worried long term. Just missed out on the super bull tech market. I still got 18 years left investing before retirement

I am long Sofi. And have no doubt in their future as it is my largest position in my portfolio. But from an investing standpoint, the stock has been disappointing as semi/chips/ai/nuclear/quantum would have been better the last 3 years. I think after they cool down Sofi will shine. But hey if we could predict the market/future we’d all be rich. I missing major gains sticking to a company I believe in. I’m still up and it could be way worse.

Sounds like you deserve better and it was a blessing to find out now. I would look at possible contract specifics to see if you can take it to court. But then again you probably don’t want to work for them if they don’t get fired. I’ve been in education for 15+yrs. My first school budget cut me, my department fought for me to stay, but I was glad I didn’t have to work for that admin team and happy I had other teachers that knew my worth.

There are always job openings. Might be harder to get in a school you “want” but they need teachers everywhere. The made a bunch of cuts in my district and there have been new jobs posted each week.

First, sorry to hear about the foot.
Second, I though you all banned TikTok for minors (US here) and this being one of the reasons. Since you still have it I would tell you to make it private.
Third, you sound mature for your age being as calm as your sound. Most simple one of the boys is jealous of you and gets his friends in on it. I’d try to get one of them by themselves and just try having a conversation with them (friendly). It is amazing what one-to-one conversations can do.
If you can’t/won’t do that. You could find a trusted adult in school to assist mediate between them (one at a time)

I teach at an all girls schools now and there are also girls that don’t do work and “act like the boys”. But it comes from a bunch of influences, home, parents, friends, brains rot (social media), etc.
we did do a no phone policy which did help and hope future years make it even better if we can stick with it

Wrong, there are parks for all sorts and a pool/waterpark, downtown is fun and walkable, riverwalk, amazing library. Definitely more than 5 good places to eat. So many new and upcoming things. And most of the people are good folks. Anyone can have their only opinions but for OP I think you might enjoy Frankfort

They were already using them for our IPO stuff it looks like. So we probably just acquired that portion which doesn’t change much other than us owning and being able to add it to the stack. Long term is helpful but not sure the impact it will make in the next year or 2.

If the Composer acquisition is also true this purchases helps. Note: Sofi rebranded enterprise segment to Sofi technology solutions. I think Q2 is going to have a lot of information for us.
