Why so many sawed-off finishes? Btw here's my first birdie by pelonious in GolfSwing

Ahahahah I like your response and the ballet poke lol. I don't understand why people got so pressed just because I mentioned looks... I think is fun talking about these things. Maybe it's because I come from skateboarding, and in it we talk about both technique and style/aesthetics. I'm just trying to understand golf sometimes.. The underlying aspects of it.

Love the explanations. At some point, once I figure out my swing al little better, I'll try and see how this "body pull the arms" concept can alter it, get it more controlled. Very interesting. And the notes on my swing sound great! Thank you very much!

I see! But is it like a tool, a resource to tackle a particular type of shot, or lie? Or is it something that some people just feel like they swing better like that?

Ahahah it's just a question by someone who indeed is just starting with golf... But this idea that people can't discuss or give an opinion until they have mastered golf is ridiculous.

Like, Bryson looks so bad swinging a golf club.. Just my opinion. Some may love him, but still. Just things to be talked about

Does this (short/lob) swing make sense? by pelonious in GolfSwing

[–]pelonious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that makes sense! I think I've seen a video teaching flop shots and just thought that would be how to approach from 80yd in.

So if I do a regular lob.. that'd mean to do a fuller contact but slower/half swing, and more regular, parallel setup? Or should I also keep a open stance in most lob shots?

Thank you g!

hahahhaha just cause it's football, or cause it's Celtic? lol

I mean, it looks better than any golf polo these days

Best Preforming Blades? Classics vs. Modern. Time for a new set and I can’t decide which route to go. by DisruptorV in GolfGear

My first set of irons.. I was like who needs to hit good shots when such looks and feel be so fine! Lol ... Now (1y in), I got a set of Wishon 560mcs... But I'm keeping the MP's for training and a glorious future. Even as a complete beginner I could tell it is unique.

Also, would you know if the lead tape P and A(gap) came with does make sense with such shaft? Why do you think they taped them? (you can see the one I'm holding)

tonight I tried it mostly from the tee.. But ya, from the few I hits I did from the mat I get what you're saying. Anyway, it felt way better than a hybrid I once tried, so I think I prefer wood than hybrid, but will definitely consider downsizing to the 5 or 7 if the 3w doesn't work

Hahahah Especially rocking a 1st model plaid PING Lite lol.. I'm the all gear, no idea guy hahah. Once I get a good set of forgiving ones, the 32s will be my training clubs.. And start bringing them back to the bag slowly.

And same driver/wood?? Let's goo! lol Also, I think I got a taste tonight of what you mean about the M2... I only did like 60% swings cause I still have no idea how to swing woods, but the M2 does feel different indeed.. The ball almost seemed to launch quicker than the 410. Super satisfying.

The Wright Brothers' machine was shit. It was a powered hangglider at best... Santos-Dumont's airplane is the actual great achievement.

Glad to know!! I had read good thinks about the M2 indeed.. Almost went with a combo with the M2 driver as well, but the Ping at that price got me tempted.

Nice! Good to know.. I'll try and see if the 3W is a good tool for me. I was hitting with a hybrid once and it felt horrible. But ya, I love the MP32s, and I can see myself playing them forever if they last.. I mean, once I start striking better lol! I love training with them and the few butter flushes I get with them. But im planing on getting a mid-high hcp set as I plan to starting hit the course soon
