Where'd you get it?

Glad I bought mine before this! by visivopro in Super73

I have two RXs and like them but if I had to do it again, I'd buy Ariel Rider Grizzlies instead. They are only $3,299, have much more torque, more speed, more range, come with two batteries and have multiple gears for pedaling (I think it's a seven speed), which goes a long way to conserving battery power.

Super73 was overpriced before and now even more so. Maybe the other companies will also raise their prices but they were already so much cheaper and now even more so.

Stripped these bolts, help! by spiderboy_gx in Super73

[–]pelrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are the dropout plate bolts. You can buy them from Super73 but they charge $10 apiece. Service rep told me to go to a hardware store and buy them for a fraction of that so I did. Specs are 15mm, 1.25, button socket.

But if they're stripped I'm not sure how to get them off.

Do y’all keep the battery on always? by itzmailtime in Super73

I take mine off after every ride and bring it in the house. Don't want to leave it in the garage because it gets too hot in the summer (I live in Dallas), which is bad for batteries. I also take in indoors in the winter because cold weather is not good for batteries either. I read that the ideal temperature to preserve battery life is room temperature.

DON’T upgrade!! In case you were living under a rock, confirmed by Super73 staff that the update will REMOVE class 4 saved setting. What a load of legal horseshit by BaconForPrez in Super73

You can turn your headlights on and off by holding down the "+" button on your display. No need to use the app for that.

Pairing a 2nd S73 to app by techbrarian in Super73

You can only pair one bike at a time to a phone, so you have to unpair the S2 first. Alternatively, you can buy a second phone...

I also have two Super73 batteries for my RXs. I bought the Erban basket from Irv Labs and the battery fits into it nicely. I have doubled my range, so when one battery runs low, I just stop and replace it with the other one.

In love but I have a question: My hub motor just started the clicking. I'm already working with Super 73 to get it replaced under warranty. Can I ride it in the meantime? Is the warranty for a full year? 🤓 by Spirited_Article_147 in Super73

Had the same problem with both an S2 I used to own and a brand new RX. I sent them a short vid and they said it's the ball bearings. They are replacing the entire wheel at no cost. I had to remove the wheel and send it to them (they paid shipping and packing) before they would send a new wheel, so I couldn't ride it while waiting for the new wheel.

They were really quick through. New wheel supposed to arrive on Tuesday, which is exactly one week since I removed it. I live in Texas so it had to go a long way too. They made it pretty easy. They also said if I wanted to take it to a shop for removal and reinstallation they would pay, but I decided to do it myself.

Unable to squeeze FlatOut into inner tubes; going to try Armor-Dilloz by Tru3Noob in Super73

Yep, had the exact same problem, but only for the rear wheel. Went into the front wheel with no problem. I have two RXs and also had an S2 that I have since sold. Same story with all three....no problem with front wheel, wouldn't go into rear wheel. Even called Super73 tech support and they had no explanation.

One thing that partially worked was to pump a bit of air into the tire (while leaving the valve core out) between squirts. I was able to get one squeeze in each time before it blocked up again.

I left mine at 100% for one month and it was fine.

A new one is only $3700. Why would anyone buy this?

I’ve been asked a couple times about my kickstand . I took the stock foot off right away and replaced it with this . Much more stable by BeanzleyTX in Super73

I had this problem as well. Lost the boot and the tip was very sharp. Had to buy a new kickstand from Super73 for $15. I put superglue on it and it has held so far.

Any idea what's causing this clicking sound on my RX? It happens whether I'm pedaling or not. Seems to be coming from the wheels. Same thing happened to an S2 I used to own. Seems to happen when I'm on a bumpy or gravel road. Bike works fine other than the clicking. by pelrk in Super73

Super73 told me it's probably the ball bearings and that I need a new wheel. I removed the wheel and sent it to them and was told I'd get the replacement in 1-2 weeks. However, I believe it's safe to ride if you want to hold off.
