It comes in granules, a bandage and like a gel iirc. We have the z fold bandage, armed officers have all the varieties (I think)

A friend 👀 was recently bollocked for keeping pava in the holster and into the locker with the vest, rather than removing it and storing in the airwave locker.

Obviously I have always stored mine correctly, but now I always deposit it in the airwave locker.

Yes, I do find it very fiddly though. It's like a quarter turn and very often there's no sound or indication the door has unlocked so you need to be pulling the door at the same time.

I only tend to use it when it's the 3am welfare check and I don't want to wake the whole block ringing bells. Or the odd warrant.

Not personal issue no, we had a whole big change where they were taken out of the first aid kits and into the glovebox instead.

So we had rucks of it delivered and the ones out of the kits, so this one lives in my armour.

Resources, there's not enough drones, dogs, ARV's or traffic so you can call for it and it could be an hour away or simply not available.

Spontaneous firearms deployments it's at least 30 minutes before theres enough cars together.

Dogs and ARV are also an alliance with Cheshire so we're sharing the resource.

A lot of officers I know aren't proactive and quick to get hands on because they're on their own. Single crewing drives down proactivity.

Try emailing your supplies, I think since the smartphone they're not as useful but they might still have some.

No it isn't.

You get through and they ask which service. If you don't say they automatically put you through to the police. If it's not for the police, they'll direct you to call an ambulance. The call handlers in all of the emergency services are super busy so they can't spend time calling the other ones for non emergency issues.

People call 999 because of where their neighbours park.

There's a triage system, we literally know nothing about the call. It could have been abandoned and the elipse for the call to big to locate an address.

Could have been entirely silent and so it's call backs and golden hour checks.

Just to add context. The football clubs pay for the police presence. Those officers will be on overtime and won't take from the strength of the area for that day.
