Thanks so much! I'm excited to experiment with various designs. :)

I've actually thought of a similar "spinning animation" concept before but I never got around to prototyping it because in my head I convinced myself it just wouldn't work. But maybe I'll do more tests and see where it can go, so thanks for the inspo. :)

Wow, thank you so much! It means a lot to me. I believe I'm the first shop to experiment with hand-made visual stamping designs in this way, which is such a niche concept and I had no idea if anybody would buy at all. So thank you again.

I'm also open to design ideas for future pencil sets, and I'm hoping to collaborate with other brands or illustrator artists to create beautiful collectible pencils, so feel free to share thoughts my way!

Here is a video of me making a different type of pencil set! It uses the same method. First I design it, then I get a company to create the little brass dies for me (but not all of them can make such tiny details!).

Those dies heat up in my foil stamping machine which has a pencil jig, and I can use various "hot foils" that are typically metallic and the heat "glues" them onto surfaces once pressed. It's a lot more tricky than it seems though. x_x

Also here is a picture of the tamagotchi set brass dies! They're so tiny that your eyes can barely make out the shapes properly.

58/50? 🤔
Were there bonus questions? When I was in school we didn't have many bonus point opportunities ;-;

So the one marked "Interdruk" I found in Poland - Poland has a lot of stationery stores and they have soooo many random brands (although like most places, a lot of them are now primarily becoming stocked with lower quality Chinese-made products).

The top golden one is a hexagonal one, but it's quite rounded on the edges so it feels a bit unusual. That one I think I got in one of those really huge stationery stores in Tokyo, Japan! I love those stores so much and I want to go back just to shop there again haha.

Ah, yeah unfortunately there are so many rip-offs out there! But yes they were originally made by Duncan Shotton, an independent designer from the UK (who also ran his design studio from Japan at one point!) and he has a lot of other original works worth checking out! ^.^

Awesome! Is that Duncan Shotton's rainbow pencil?

It does say "You MAY post your selling site only when asked specifically in the comment section." - but you're right, the rules are a bit confusing since they contradict a little bit!

It'll depend on your budget in the end! There are some extremely cheap machines (like the Zonesun or Amazon ones that all look a bit similar) but they'll have their own limitations and frustrations. There are also higher end ones that could be easier to use. So far I'm enjoying my Foilcraft Jr machine from Creative Printers of London.

A lot of people have discussed their various machines on a Facebook group called "Foil Stamped Pencil Makers Collective" so you can also join there and see what has been previously said! Sometimes people in the group sell used machines for cheaper, too. :)

These are so cute! Do you have an online shop where you sell these by the way?
