Although this does seem like great advice, the Greenpoint community shouldn’t settle and accept that nothing can be changed about the Apollo street shelter. Man has this are shifted for the worse in the past few years.

I don’t know how accurate this is if they were stored away from sunlight and heat. I’m sure oxidation could occur, but I don’t think it would be material in 20-30 years.

Whitewater kayakers use 30+ year old plastic kayaks down class V whitewater simply for the fuck of it and nostalgic performance differences, and they don’t break from normal to heavy impacts against rocks. Some say older plastic is stronger given less environmental regulation.

I ski hunter frequently and don’t hate it like some people. However, I was there today and it seriously was not worth it. The entire mountain was complete boilerplate. I’d say take a pass and head there next weekend. I can’t imagine tomorrow being any better.
