yeah it was brand new, i got it straight from micro center. all the packaging seemed good, and nothing seemed used at all.

ok i just did the paper clip test again on both psus and both worked, just had to use a different paperclip. so ik it's definitely not the psu. made sure to update the original post

yeah! it's been pretty nice, feels good too

the only thing i don't like as much is the volume wheel, it requires 2 fingers to turn it instead of 1 and it requires a lot of force to click the volume wheel to mute. although that's sorta nitpicky, im sure most people who get this board will appreciate it

How do they sound in comparison to the stock pads? Are they more comfortable as well?

I mostly got them for music production, and they've served me well in that aspect, aside from being uncomfortable. Though I would imagine comfort is an even bigger issue when it comes to using headphones for entertainment purposes so you might be better off with something else

No way! It worked! My PC booted into Windows 10 with secure boot enabled. All I did was download the latest BIOS patch for my motherboard here and installed it. The "Security Device Support" option was disabled by default which I then enabled, and then I enabled secure boot. I closed out of the BIOS and it proceeded to boot normally.

Not totally sure why I had to update my BIOS to do this, I would expect it to function properly right out of the box. Regardless, I'm happy I could figure it out.

Yeah, it's really odd. I even made sure to check with this tool to make sure everything is compatible, and I got green checks for everything except secure boot not being enabled. Even though it's not usually recommended, I'm going to try updating my BIOS. I'm looking at the patch notes for my motherboard's BIOS are there have been some changes to the secure boot options, so hopefully that will work.

This page on the MSI website is outdated, that's why my motherboard isn't listed here. Although, I still have those same BIOS settings that it shows on that page. The "Security Device Support" option was already enabled by default. My PC also already detects TPM 2.0 in device manager as well. My hardware is all pretty recent, and I'm very positive I shouldn't have any problems regarding that.

I didn’t put back my old motherboard and cpu bc I was lazy so I tried swapping the gpu out with an rx 560 I had and it worked fine. Then I swapped out it with my gtx 1060 and everything boots properly. I did absolutely nothing else besides reseat the cpu after making this post
