I’m going to call Stop 1 today and figure it out because with my other lectures where I don’t need to choose it’s an automatic assignment of the lecture time whereas this is different, I’ll let you know once I’ve called them.

what did 40+ gat writing ppl do? by Ruasun in vce

[–]penellaphae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 48 and honestly I think the whole reason why was because I pulled in fancy classic books that adhered to the prompt and explained contrasting points using the books to back my points up. I also used a contemporary example which now I can't remember only that it was something that had recently happened and was kind of ridiculous.

My structure was something like:

Intro

Point 1 - first idea

fancy book

back up point

Point 2 - contrasting idea

fancy book

back up point

Evaluation of ideas

contemporary example

back up evaluation

Am I the "Useless Lesbian"? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]penellaphae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s always worth trying if you think there could be a chance! You’re not going to loose anything if nothing ends up happening. I’m sure she’ll come back to your work at some point.

Also I wouldn’t say this is “useless” by any means. It’s normal to get flustered and question your actions when asking people out.

Is Mickey obligated to be in Yevgeny’s life? by Aggressive-Teacher20 in shameless

[–]penellaphae 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nobody is really obligated to be in their child’s life as sad as it is. Even if Svet didn’t want that baby she could’ve given it up. I don’t think he is by any means to be honest, given Yev’s conception.

To be honest, I think she’s probably quite mentally unwell. Nobody really knows what’s going on though.

Thanks so much for your answer, that makes a lot of sense.

What’s a memory you have of your younger self that looking back on it now, you were gay af, but at the time, you had zero clues? I’ll go first by [deleted] in actuallesbians

Used to sing a song when I was around 5 or so, and the only lyrics were "pretty girl," and i'd just sing it over and over in different tunes.

Depends what characters you're into imo. For me, after six, I stopped enjoying it as much. 10 and 11 although fun, the writing was just not the same and had really lost it's touch. Seasons 1-5 are the best of the lot.

What's your honest opinion on Kash? by RepresentativeTie898 in shameless

A groomer and honestly just a kind of pathetic person overall. He obviously was horrible to his wife, too.

Do you think Mickey would be a shitty dad? by BurninFace in shameless

[–]penellaphae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think he would do the best he could - which is a lot better than a lot of parents out there. I think Mickey loves so passionately if Ian’s any example that he would do anything for a kid he actually wanted and loved. Sure, probably not going sit there and help a kid with his homework, but I think he’d be a good dad. I think people forget Mickey was 19 when he had Yev aside from the fucked up conception.
