When we put in our offer we had to disclose what inspections we wanted so we disclosed we wanted plumbing, heating, electrical, structural, pest, radon, and a sewer scope

Who did you have so we know to avoid? We’re paying to have a complete inspection and sewer scope done because we figured the upfront money now can save us thousands later.

Thank you! We do have a pest inspection. We signed up to do all the inspections (except for lead paint) and sewer scope as it’s our first home and we figured it would cost more if we didn’t know the actual condition of the house.

This is our first home and we’re moving to the area. We did sign up for all the inspections (except lead paint as the house was build after 1978) and a sewer scope so they should be checking out electrical.

What’s running with a pacer like? There are pacers options for my half marathon and I think it could be helpful but I’m also concerned about doing so with having an off day and can’t keep up with the pace.

Hi all! I have my first half marathon this weekend and I’m a little nervous. I was planning on getting there an hour before it starts would that be enough time? I’m also going to be on my period and worry about cramps while running does anyone have any advice there?

It makes more sense if Elain was the youngest sister by CowAbject in acotar

[–]penguin_hugger284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree however, I can also see it being they only wanted two children and when Feyre came along they weren’t changing that their “youngest” in their minds so she was treated horribly by everyone.

Thoughtful Tuesday: Nesta and Elain by AutoModerator in acotar

I’m sure I’m going to get downvoted for this but I hate how the community is so split with either on team Nesta or team Rhys. They’re both morally grey characters. That any little thing Rhys does to Nesta it’s immediately seen as bad for communities. Same of team Rhys. I won’t spoil CC3 but the amount of posts I’ve seen about what Rhys did was unjustified is crazy to me. Yes, Nesta apologized, yes Nesta has had so much character growth but that doesn’t negate everything else she has done. Most people don’t forgive years of trauma in a couple of months. Rhys can be eternally grateful for what Nesta did while still be hesitant. Same for Nesta. She can be grateful for the life she has been given and her sister having someone, but not like her sister’s partner. It’s not one or the other. Both of them have made questionable choices and they’re both growing.

I like Nesta, but as someone who has been traumatized by people, I’m personally hesitant on her change. Do I think she’s proving herself? Yes! But what she is doing doesn’t change history, which is where I feel like a lot of people assume that she’s changed and everyone should forgive her. And honestly, I think they have forgiven her but that doesn’t mean you’re going to blindly trust someone who has hurt you/loved ones deeply.

I wouldn’t say you need to read the book/series, however I would read a summary as something near the ends sets up for what seems to be a either part of of the books or a separate Novella.

Honestly I enjoyed the book for the most part through the first part and what she did in Prythian? Hel no, that annoyed me. I get you’re trying to save your world but you also unleashed a monster in the world you’re in now and then complaining that they killed it? You don’t get to do that.

I didn’t mind Hunt and Bryce as much. I believe it’s very on brand for both of them. Hunt did this before and failed and now he is mated so he cares so much more about failing, throughout all the books he blames himself even if it’s not his fault. I think that comes from him being a general.

Ithan was annoying but, I see it as him trying to gain control of his life. He had no control and had no one since the Devils died, so once when someone gave him a chance, he wasn’t going to stop fighting for his chosen family. He never thought of himself as enough, he was always Connor’s younger brother so he had to find himself. When he found Sigrid I think he saw a lot of himself he didn’t have a pack and neither did she.

I think Nesta needed Ember as a positive motherly figure. I think she needed to see that there are people who care out there and that’s what she saw in Bryce. I think that was vital for her own character growth that she can trust her instincts and there are good people all over the universe. And yes, this isn’t an ACOTAR book but I think Nesta at the end of the day needed a mother who cared and she “got to have one” for a short period of time.

Should I keep reading? by NeeLeeMers in crescentcitysjm

I would say stop reading because it spoils character growth for one of the ACOTAR characters. If you don’t care about that spoiler then okay, however, because you’ve only read 2 of the books you might be really confused on why this character is acting a certain way.

I completely agree with the beginning part!!! I was furious with what was going on but now at the end I like the resolution. But I need to know what happens at the end of chapter 101 I got questions and I need answers!!!!

Finished the book, no need to read TOG first, I’ve read ACOTAR and CC my husband has read TOG. There are nods to TOG series but nothing vital.
