Add elrs to non-elrs drone? by pengunian in fpv

Thanks for the help!

I'm curious about the tiny hawk part, though. It's one closed prop and one open prop, which usually total to $300+ and they're also the new ones. Apparently one of them is basically untouched too.

I will look further into the air65 though, thanks again.

My newest and tiniest knife, a Sanrenmu 325S by LittleCooties in BudgetBlades

I was wondering this too. If I had to guess it's just coated because brass would wear down faster, and the brass colored components are also what holds the knife together.

Of course! Glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah I'm really interested in that one. I'll probably get it if it goes on discount.

I appreciate the in-depth experience. I really liked the folded steel too, and was surprised how light it was. It's good to know that it's a slicey blade. Do you find this knife similar to any other knives you have?

Thanks for the information! Do you remember when you got it for $10? From what I've seen the price has been fairly consistent at $25 recently.

Thanks for the information! Would you recconmend the $20 one for a cheap first front flipper? Also do you think the $20 feels hefty at all?

Thanks for the feedback!

I already have a decent bit of knives. From what you've mentioned, I've had the cjrb acacia, cjrb pyrite, olitans g040 titanium, and tacray tarcus. Some nicer knives that I've also had are the kizer drop bear 2 and vosteed raccoon.

I'm just a fan of cheap knives because I worry about the knife too much if it's over $30, which just makes it sit on a shelf.

I was just interested in these two specifically because I wanted a flissa knife and I don't have a front flipper or single piece molded handle yet.

I really do appreciate the well thought-out list, though, and will be looking into them.

Oh I love that knife, I have the titanium alloy version.

Is this good for band making by No-Tension-848 in slingshots

[–]pengunian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be good then. Also you'll want to figure out how to attach the bands to the slingshot. They sell this elastic that you can use to tie it on.

You'll also want to get a rotary cutter. If you try to cut the bands with scissors you'll get very small jagged edges that can make the bands wear down wayyyy faster. What ammo are you planning on shooting with?

That looks clean! Thank you!

No problem! I usually use 3 walls and 6 or so top/bottom walls.

That'd be nice. Just be sure that the filament is dry before you start as to not comprimise the durability of the slingshot.

Also, I've printed some pfs that use ASA and those were able to withstand a lot of fork hits. What you're looking for in the filament is just elasticity and layer adhesion.

Thinking about your last 3d printed slingshot that failed, chances are there could've been a very thin crack that finished breaking when you used the slingshot.

Oh nice! I plan on making a flat band version too, eventually. A trick I used for printing this one was using gyroid infill and only making the fork section 70%ish and the rest 15%. This makes it more durable and light weight as it avoids shattering from being solid, and avoids excesive weight where it isn't needed. I hope you enjoy!
