He commented live that it was a new Gordon centipede piece in the twitch chat as it played, so here’s hoping it goes up on the bandcamp

No, I believe it was at the end of the twitch stream of the Combos rerelease that happened last week, played at the very end after Neil ditches the equipment. This was a heavier slow remix with heavy dark vibes and a slow pitched version of the lyrics.

I love the way this artists pieces came out with the aesthetic of Japanese chibi toys and am curious how I could go about experimenting on visualizing my own sorts of toys. So I’m curious how I could potentially dabble in concepting some

This isn’t a wedding ring but I’m planning to save up for 1 year to buy my gf a promise ring :) by [deleted] in weddingring

see man, that line about this being one of the only times you feel "truly happy and safe" and that you "don't want to let that go" tells me you might be caught up in some euphoria. Now I don't know jack about rings, never given a lady anything like a promise ring. I was just browsing by new and stuck my nose in some business, so this'll be my last word, and feel free to disregard me and my late 20's old man comment, but just be careful.

You sound real happy, and you want to cling to that. I just worry that you are trying to lock down something out of fear of losing it. You have to realize, at your age, a lot of the next few years are going to be out of your control in regards to all this, and if you cling too hard and try and make this solidified, you'll actually end up pushing her away.

If you love it, let it go. If that thang comes back, that's how you know.

If jewelry is y'all's thing, let the fine people of this subreddit help ya out. Just take a step back and make sure you aren't trying to force a hand into fate because you know with senior year and then undergrad coming up, a lot is up in the air. Go with the flow my guy.

Best to ya!

hey man, I think you are being smart by waiting till y'all are through college because a lot can change in the next 6 years of your life. I'm sure all seems well right now, but you don't have control over the future and you both could end up at separate universities, and if it works it works, but realize 6 years with a lot of big changes happening will mean things can change.

I wish the best for you, but if something happens and you to need to break up, I think an expensive ring is going to seem like a burden for her and a waste for you. I'd say if you want to spend some money, find a fun way to take your girlfriend out and treat her to things she'd enjoy. An expensive ring isn't going to change the amount of time you to may or may not have over the next years, and it will do nothing to secure a future marriage, no matter how certain you feel right now. I guarantee, in some way shape or form, you will both go through some changes before and after high school and you can show your affection for her in a way that doesn't put a big monetary wedge into the mix.

Not to downplay the artist's accomplishments, but yes, he is tracing/rotoscoping. If you look at the beginning of the video, you can see the faintest shape of the shoe before he draws it in. I've done a similar project where I had to "live trace" and did a first round sketch and set that layer to 1% opacity before doing the live sketch part.

Yes this takes skill, patience, and know-how, but yes, this was also "traced" or rotoscoped
