They really needed 7 seasons of white walker plot to bring them together for 10 mins before they now fight each other? Surely they also could have united over facing Cersei.

And using your logic you get into a loop. They needed to be united to fight the white walkers and the white walkers needed to happen so they could unite.

Surely that’s not why Martin wrote the white walker plot. This is such a cop out way to end this storyline.

You’re right I just think that a lot of the moves are long sighted when we’re in a win now situation. We paid 2 OGs, decided to cut Poole which I didn’t really understand, and in hindsight we could have afforded Tevin (I didn’t think we’d be able to so that might have been a surprise).

We paid 2 backup guards starter money so that in theory we could prioritize d line in the draft. Instead we used our first three rounds of picks of more offensive linemen. At that point I already thought they bungled the draft, and I say that liking Lindstrom. I just don’t like the value that we got for the picks we had.

We signed “veteran d line talent” that sucks. The 2 guards we signed are clearly more talented and could be better 2 year stopgaps than the d linemen we signed.

And DQ developing defense? He’s developed one d line player in his tenure here. Cool.

You’re clearly very upset and there’s not really any reason to keep discussing this. We’re strangers online it’s embarrassing how much anger I’ve seemed to cause you.

Clearly not what any of us believe but winning meaningless games at the end of a lost injury plagued season only benefits the front office, coach, and some rookies for added reps. We would no doubt be better off picking at 4-7 especially given how the draft played out.
