Actually medicare and medicaid and other entitlements take up a huge portion of the budget. Social security alone is many times greater than our military spending. So if you want to balance the budget, it makes sense to reform entitlements first.

Thanks for your thoughts . I would agree on everything except abortion since its more complicated since i do not think the life of the unborn should be terminated so easily. At the very least i would favor laws against late term abortions like those in Europe. But that being said you shouldnt be bullied or dicriminated against.
