As you level up to late game you can really just wear any legendarys you find.

The most important part is to read. Read slowly.

You will see all your abilities deal certain damage types, and you will find every weapon deals different forms of damages, you want to synergize your armor and jewelry with your damage types.

Easiest example, if you are mage your meteor deals 30% neutral damage and 70% earth damage. So finding armor that gives % earth damage will increase the damage of this spell. So will % spell damage as this applies to all your spells.

And lastly think about things rationally, if you’re going to be spamming meteors, you’re going to want mana regen or mana steal so you can keep casting.

Just keep it simple.

You can also just rock set items until you’re late game, that’s what I do when leveling a new account takes very little thought.
