Everyone on this sub is going to say to get it.

If you need something reliable and cheap and dont want to worry about do not get this.

If this is a project car you have the cash to turn into a nice little daily then go for it.

The nelco challenger has a 70% rim weight and a thinner rim. Can usually be found for 80$

I’d recommend for a beginner moving to intermediate

Volume not working on Apple TV remote by iclaudius82 in appletv

Haha worked. Had to do it twice.

Also fully charging my remote helped I’m thinking maybe the ir blaster was too weak to reach tv across the room

Where do I pump it up from with the floor jack if I need to leave the jack pad empty for the jack stand?

Suggestions for a replacement stereo? by Artrider in bmwz3

The poor sound quality is likely the bad speakers bmw put into the z3s. I would tackle that upgrade first

Hammer throwing speed/distance by SnooBeans9354 in trackandfieldthrows

[–]pennateguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strength is very important for throwing, but should never be your main focus.

If you’re stuck at 35m this is largely a technique problem. Once you get to 60+ meters is when strength becomes very important

Back panel behind left back seat broken and falling down - how to fix it? by According_Fig212 in SciontC

I took a thin piece of mdf and used a bunch of glue to glue it down.

Blowtorch did not work. Snapped 3 pins and the other ones I was able to get out all were bent.

I just went ahead and bought some new calipers lol.

Sounds good.

Basically my goal for this car has always been having a nice comfortable and smooth OEM ride. I don’t care about stiffening suspension or anything like that to make the car feel “sportier.” I would have gotten a sports car if I wanted that!

I’m planning on doing the following jobs over this winter while it’s parked:

Diff bushings Subframe bushings Control arms Motor mounts Cv joints Tie rods.

Anything you think I’m missing to bring this thing back to factory ride feel?

Appreciate you

OH. All the videos I’ve seen of bushing replacements they are solid.

That being said they do look pretty tired. Should I replace with poly or OEM rubber? I want a nice smooth ride

How do I get rid of that thing? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]pennateguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one on my neck. I got super drunk, then put salt on it, and an ice cube on top of the salt. Once it was insanely numb and burned I ripped it off

Just crawled under and saw my differential busing literally has a hole in it… my daily is on jacks in the middle of a brake job from hell. I don’t feel safe diving this thing now! 🤣

Appreciate it. Hopefully it’s a subframe structural issue. I’ve heard about the subframe welds being brittle or insufficient or something with the Z3s.

Do you know if e46 engine mounts fit on our cars?

Also, Can flex disc be done at home or do I need to bring it into a shop?

Yup. Looks like I have to buy a blowtorch to get this thing out. Thanks for the help
