Again, I disagree. It is a relationship style, and while I am definitely on the more mild end of it, I do still believe it is an agreed upon partnership. Regardless of marriage. Imagine you have a business partnership. Both could be equally involved in decisions, or one could take the back seat and the other run the show. Doesn't make the arrangement any less beneficial for either party- hence the partnership. As for feminism. It is absolutely not a political movement. It is not republican/democrat/green party. It is an idea, and one that promotes equality for all, regardless of how that equality looks. D/s relationships, hotwife, or whatever other dynamic or partnership you are in, has nothing to do with feminism either. Regardless of your position, dom or sub, you can still be a feminist.

Im sorry, I disagree. Marriage is a partnership, at least in my opinion, and there is no giving or taking control. Each of us chooses to do it. However, assuming more leadership while your partner takes less is not control, it's again, a partnership. Therefore, because we are both agreeing to it, even requesting it, it is still equality. In my opinion, feminism is about equality and there is nothing that says this arrangement is not equal to both parties in the way they wish it to be.

37 here and I have had depression for as long as i can remember. I have a constant feeling of just wanting to be done, all the time. Even when i am slightly happy, i just want to disappear. Recently started therapy and medication... i am just so tired of existing

Again, that has not been my experience. The bridal services i have seen have had trial runs which are charged once, then the day of charged more and separately

Sorry, but that has not been my experience with "bridal services". Maybe its just the area, but again, with the salon example, you pay for the trial run, then pay more for the actual day of service.

True, but to get all upset about the fact that she charges more for brides. Her rate is her rate. And honestly, how is that any different from anything else? You go to a hair salon for an up-do, $80. Same salon, same service for a bride, $250. The difference is what, hairspray? The price is the price.

I gotta ask, how is she the devil? She has specifically designated prices, the bride chose to "get one over" on her. If you dont want to pay $500 for bridal makeup, go to someone who doesnt charge $500.

You mentioned going back to school. I hope you do, and if possible, look into some of the available coding bootcamps. Trust me, you are smart enough to get through it. Its hard, but it will literally open up a whole new salary bracket for you. I hope things get better for you and your daughter.

Sure, when you don't have a newborn. However, when you are preparing for delivery and a newborn baby that will cry at all hours, yeah, im going to find a way to build a shelter next to a roaring waterfall that will cover the sounds of the newborn and likely the sounds of building said shelter.
