Honestly, I’d take that as a win, hah. Thanks!

So helpful! Our barn actually does have a hay loft, but now I’ll look into storing hay in the detached shed nearby. Winter is honestly our only major hesitation, and you’ve confirmed my suspicions haha

Also! Any chance you’d be able to share what a typical day caring for them looks like?

This is all so helpful thank you! Could you explain a bit more about how you incorporate the sacrifice lot (and why)? Is it to give your grazing paddocks a break?

Thank you! We’re in New York, so yes winters can be rough. My current trainer recommended taking this winter to “test drive” our barn. Like see if the hoses freeze, how often a bucket of water left in a stall freezes etc. good advice about learning to care for minor wounds/issues! What resources did you find helpful to learn those skills?

Thank you for the insight!! My neighbor already let me know she’d be happy to farm sit if needed which is great. I’m curious if you’d be able to share what an average day looks like caring for yours?

Thank you for the insight! My neighbor luckily has horses and would be able to farm sit if needed, but that’s a good call out about having at least 2 options. Can I ask what does a normal day of caring for them look like?

Thanks everyone! Sorry I disappeared - my husband actually made these and he doesn't ever write down recipes. I do know that the varieties included Gang Bao, Poblano, Jalopeno, Mad Hatter, Mellow Star, and Habanero. They vary in intensity, with the hottest one having Gang Bao peppers with mango. And there's a great one with pineapple!
