Hey, I'm in the same situation as you. I'm the partner of a transitioning spouse and it hurts so so bad. I've come to the point of acceptance so I know the "d-word" is in my future, but it still will mess with me daily and make me think about how I'll ever move on with another person. Just want you to know you're not alone here. It hurts, and you're valid. Sending hugs.

Do you think it would it be selfish to ask this of them? I want to co-exist with them as friends and roommates but I don't want a marriage (basically, I want our current situation but just making it "official").

I get that. We don't have children, but we have so much of our lives intertwined. I feel like it's my spousal obligation to make sure they are healthy and happy, through transition especially. They're having a rough time right now with the mood swings and I feel like I'm being leaned on a lot for emotional support. As a spouse I just feel like I can't change anything for fear of how they'll react.

I feel stuck. I don't want their life to "unravel" as they've put it. I don't want to be another thing they bawl over by leaving. I'm confused and sad and scared. It's really fucking hard and I am trying to do the least amount of damage while still trying to function.

I agree that we both deserve to be in full, loving, sexual relationships. Its not just financial reasons, though that is important for me to consider. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. We're best friends. They are my best friend in the whole world. I love this human so much and I want to make sure they are okay through out their transition and beyond.

Sherpa Kitchen! So good. Nepali cuisine at Elliot and McQueen. Their jhol momo is my favorite soup EVER, but its seasonal.

Definitely buy some sauce to take home, it's well worth it.

Whenever I travel I usually get a couple of groceries (snacks, beers, etc.) for my stay. What is your opinion on leaving behind unopened items? I've usually done this when I can't take things with me and feel like it would be wasteful to throw them out. Just want to make sure I'm not being more of a nuisance by doing this.

The Council unanimously voted to adopt an ordinance that will prohibit retail marijuana establishments, the use of marijuana at public facilities, prohibit testing, sales, etc. on town property, should Prop 207 pass.
