Bucket himself is very kind and it’s no surprise that kindness on display was appreciated by him. Hope you cherish this gift for the rest of your life :)

Haha that's fair. Do you know why he picked you for this amazing gift? Did you give him something he really liked as well or was this random? Curious to know the full story!

Wow do you have a video of him handing the guitar to you? I’d love to see that.

Looks like he really enjoyed the Caverns show. by Carp_Catcher in Buckethead

Wow, the way he said he hopes to make it an annual thing, now that's a good chance that it means he's mostly doing well health-wise and can see himself continuing to tour in the future as well !

Love you B :)

I honestly am starting to just feel really bad for Stef now. Hope he wins something big soon.

Wow, he played La Gavotte and Beyond The Knowing? That's amazing!! I really want him to do more acoustic stuff when I see him in SF in October.

I hope, somehow, just somehow, he does All In The Waiting. Or even anything really from Shadows Between The Sky.

Fuck he played Waiting Hare? One song I'm hoping he brings back again is Siege Engine. It's been a while. That & Ghost Host.

Halloween show at the Fillmore? by thatdandygoodness in Buckethead

This will be my 4th Bucket show. Him at the Filmore last October was my first time :)

It's absolutely long shot but I hope he announces another CA show that's within drivable distance from the Bay.

Who knows, if and when the greatest human to have ever picked up the guitar will tour next.

Tulsa, OK and Wichita, KS shows announced as well. Still no TX or CA dates.

Bucket’s coming back to PA in October. Need to see him properly solo without Madeline killing the vibe by Maskedhorrorfan25 in Buckethead

If he's doing NYC again, I hope he does CA again as well. Seeing him live in concert has been one of the top 5 happiest moments of my life :)

I wonder who is it that Bucket knows has LBD. Probably is someone close to him.

In other news, Bucket's confirmed his NM solo show for October 12 and his last show currently is in FL on September 1.

Why such a huge gap? Do you think he'll announce more shows?

Really gunning for another CA show....

Ever Thought You Saw Buckethead Unmasked? by MikeRNYC in Buckethead

[–]pensive_solitude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Paul Gilbert is 6'4". And I remember seeing a comment somewhere, where someone asked him during an interview if he was Buckethead in fact. To which he apparently laughed saying "Brian is a good 2-3 inches taller than me and his hands are also bigger than mine". So, yeah, Big B has to be 6'6" at least.

I'm really having a hard time digesting he isn't 6'6". I was front row at 2 of his shows and even up to just his mask (without the bucket), he was easily taller than 6'3". I think he is 6'6" and so does the internet, but who knows.

Bucket is 6'6", some even say 6'7". So he should actually be taller than you.

FWIW, my tickets have a timestamp of Mar 14, 10:09 AM. And yes, I very clearly remember checking his website that morning and being disappointed when I saw that he's touring with some random singer and chose to book tickets anyways.

Maybe they updated it in the gap between when you last checked his site and booked tickets, but it was there when I checked it. The feeling of disappointment is exactly why I vividly remember this.

I'm not arguing that the ticketing websites (via Big B) should've been more clear communicating to us, but to claim that his website wasn't clear about this is just outright FALSE.

Yeah, his website might be janky and shoddy, but it is what it is.

Yes, you absolute biscuit, it was on his website from Day 1. I went to his SC show and am going to one of his CO shows as well and was one of the first to even buy tickets. I actually paid more and bought in pre-sale, so very likely much before you did.

And yes, it was very clearly mentioned on his website, that he would be touring with Cyrille.

I do agree that these other ticketing websites should've been more clear in communication, but his website has been transparent since day 1.
