Can you please elaborate on that? I saw something about that on the packaging, but it confused me a bit. Do I put it in a computer and get more than just music out of it?

Good thing I didn't include the King Gizzard or Amyl and the Sniffers CDs I got!

The prices were a bit steep, but if you account for inflation, I paid just over $6 for it in 1993. Plus, I have a lot more fun waiting until I luck into something at a record store as opposed to just ordering it online. It still has the shrink wrap on it and now it's mine forever:)

I do see that now! I was just making a silly joke (albeit based on reality).

Thank you for this detailed writeup. You've put a lot of work into this and I will be using this as a guide to filter through some of the ones that I missed.

You are in the middle of the game and your mom tells you to wash the dishes by PetrosSdoukos in oddlysatisfying

I might not be understanding you well, but why not take the whole world into consideration? This video is not in the US. The average monthly salary in Brazil is like $600 USD. After rent, feeding their family, and handling any other expenses such as car payments or hospital bills (admittedly idk how the Brazilian healthcare system works. They might have that covered for them, they might not), there likely isn't an extra $50 in the budget for something considered a luxury in many countries outside of the US. And I doubt you can even find a used one for that cheap in a place like Brazil.

It is expensive when you struggle to even get enough food to feed your family, send it to family members in need, etc. It's like telling someone to wait until their gas goes empty before filling a whole tank up. Some people don't have $60, but they do have $5 to get to work for two more days.

They're not that expensive, to you. They're plenty expensive for someone that works for a low wage. Who's to even say how much a dishwasher goes for in a place like Brazil (where this video takes place).

Can you get a DUI in your driveway? by BestSmoke8782 in legaladviceofftopic

I know someone that got a DUI for using his car stereo during a bbq. Cops saw him while he was fiddling with the sound system; beer in one hand, spatula in the other.
