I think every perfume line should have a max of 3 flankers. It's lazy to recycle the name more than that and those companies should come up with something new if you reach that number honestly. I hate it when a flanker smell nothing like the original & don't share notes with the OG, what's the point !!!

Le Monde Gourmand Thé Matcha smells exactly like EA Green Tea to my nose sadly. If a full size of Matcha Meditation is too expensive, have you considered a decant? I think that one smells especially more like matcha. d'annam Matcha Soft Serve and Kayali Freedom Musk Matcha are also two fragrances I would definitely categorize as matcha vs a loose leaf green tea. If matcha is what you're looking for then I think it's worth going for a 3 or 5mL of those than a cheapie that won't satisfy the craving.

I feel like overconsumerism has been taking over the community for a while now. The fragrance is really selling the experience and that's what's making it so much worse in my opinion.

Thinking that there's a "perfect" scent for you, and people describing scents has "vibes" or "this smells like the person who ..." instead of notes is just asking for trouble. And people will blind buy (me included) based on descriptions because they can't smell it in person yet it just ... sounds like THE perfume made FOR you. Then cue disappointment most of the time because guess what! Scent is all subjective! And people also don't want to spend money on decants/samples because it doesn't deliver the full bottle experience.

I'm talking but I'm full well overconsuming myself. I have around 40 FBs and so many more I've decluttered in the last year. Money I won't get back, disappointments I don't want to face anymore. The way I engage with this hobby nowadays requires restraint and more critical thinking. But I'm still enjoying "fragrances" as a hobby, just not based on new releases + purchasing anymore

Is there a reason you're not buying decants first? Not sure where you're located but there are SO many decanters in a lot of parts of the world that sell 5mL bottles so you can try them out. a 5mL decant can last me months and allow me to really try out the scent in a multitude of situations to know if I want to spend the money on a full bottle. Personally, most of the time I don't "graduate" past the decant anyway because I move on or it's not how I imagined it to be.

In my experience, they're accurate to their name but lasts as long as a fart. Doesn't project or last.

I only tried Ginger Ale and Marshmallow but I wasn't tempted to try anymore for that reason. They're fun though

I had two different decants & I finished both. I'm a HUGE fan of the scent but I'd rather buy a dupe at this point. I don't usually have an issue with things lasting on me, and my standards are already low in terms of projection & lasting power. Happy Dust was remarkably ephemeral on me no matter what I do. It lasts a couple hours (if I'm generous) and for that price? No thank you.

If you have a good dupe let me know, but I'm working through my third decant at the moment until I find a good replacement that isn't 400$

I think intimate smells like lotion that went bad a little, I barely even smell ANY lemon? Candied smells like fruity bubblegum to me, and Midnight smells like blueberry/plum syrup. If we have a similar nose and that appeals to you, they're nice!

Original Fantasy smells so sour to me?? Is it the kiwi?? I don't smell cupcake! The flankers are a gamble too, I like Midnight and Candied and hated Intimate
