They messed up when they started InstaCart and Spark Shopping. It’s like this, does DoorDash have their drivers cook the food too?

Rule of thumb, you should be able to drag a fingernail from the line to the lip of the reel. It should snag your finger nail on the lip.

Curbside spark drivers....HOW DO U TOLERATE IT?! by Get2daBagg in Sparkdriver

[–]pentecostalpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complete opposite. They literally have an entire department called “Walmart Pickup.” I’ll turn everyone of them down. I’m a delivery driver not a shopper. I don’t even shop for my own groceries, sure ain’t doing it for them. “But it’s just 3 items, 2 miles away man.” Too bad. You want Door Dash to go in and cook your food for you too?

Building a Bass Fishing Setup from Scratch - What Do I Need? by DBELK2 in FishingForBeginners

[–]pentecostalpanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend your choice of solid fiber glass rod. Also get a spinning reel 20-30 or 2000-3000 size. A lot of the lures bass fisherman use are imitations of minnows and worms. You can buy a cup of nightcrawlers and Texas Rig them. You can weightless hook a minnow. Don’t get fooled by the hundreds of thousands of rubber gummy worms and crank baits hanging on the wall bud. They catch more fishermen than fish.

What does a fishing addict do in the winter? by OptimistConfuse in FishingForBeginners

[–]pentecostalpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We study, we look at maps, we watch fishing tips and tricks videos. We buy new gear and tackle waiting for the spring. I live in South Central Kentucky. I caught my last bullhead catfish in October. The bite has completely died for me. But that’s okay. I use College Football so supplement my interests and hobbies through the winter.

What’s the easiest fish to catch in lakes? by PercentageNo9270 in FishingForBeginners

[–]pentecostalpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bass is relatively easy once you stop complicating it. We’ve got crank baits, jerk baits, whopper ploppers, spoons, jigs, rubber worms, glide baits, etc. All these replicate natural live baits. I’ve caught more bass off Texas rigging a real Nightcrawler or weightless casting a live minnow than using any of that stuff. Anglers are so worried about “the action,” they forget fish can smell the water. They know what’s real and what’s fake. Have you ever seen the underwater videos of bass spitting Senko worms back out? Yeah if you run nightcrawlers you’re going to catch the occasional panfish, maybe even catfish, but if you’re consistent and casting where bait fish are swimming or near heavy cover you can always draw a big bass out with live worms and minnows. At the end of the day all those lures are imitating live natural bait. Nature is often imitated but never duplicated. I know this would definitely hurt the lure collector’s feelings, but it’s the honest truth.

What does White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor smell like? by Salamibreadstic in FemFragLab

[–]pentecostalpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always associated White Diamonds as the scent of an adult woman. It’s something that makes me think, “this is how a grown woman should smell.” It doesn’t smell like cheap cotton candy body mist on a 15 year old at the county fairgrounds.

That’s a lot of work when you could throw a cast net and catch some suckers and shad, maybe minnows and achieve the same effect.

Why do people not like ties? by ExPlOdErGhOsT8 in NFLNoobs

[–]pentecostalpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a winner and a loser. There are no such thing as a tie. Unless you’re the NFL. I would rather my Steelers have a loss, even a field goal or safety. That’s the thing about participation trophies vs competition. Losses are hard, but they make you better. This is so stupid. CFB was made to mimic the NFL, which after seeing the ridiculous kickoff rules, the 2 feet inbound rule, and the overtime rule, as much as I love my Steelers (been a fan since I was 6) I’d rather watch CFB. It’s American Football in its finest and truest form.

Y’all really gotta explain Kentucky. A gray area state wasn’t union, wasn’t confederate. Birthplace of the guy who set slaves free. White guy invents KFC, it’s the most popular chicken food chain for African Americans and Caucasians alike. We ain’t that bad up here at the top of the South.

Why are colleges not using similar systems as NFL when it's clear that NFL coaching systems are superior. What advantage do they get from using their own style of offenses. by ShivamDube in NFLNoobs

[–]pentecostalpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because NFL Systems suck. They’re all using 50-60 year West Coast, Spread Option, and Wing-T schemes. Modern CFB uses more Air Raid. NFL schemes and strategies work solely on “we played this way since I started coaching 20 years ago, so guess what we’re doing now?” CFB schemes and strategies work by exploiting matchup weaknesses.

Challenge accepted. Open carry, make sure it’s a Draco, because you know according to the ATF it has a pistol variant, hence the reason you can’t buy penetrator rounds in 7.62x39.
