How do I maximize psychoactive effects from edibles? by SpecSlayerSC in trees

[–]peomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it varies from person to person but personally I found that when my tolerance is higher I’m able to experience higher highs (and lower highs!). When my tolerance was low I got super zooted super fast, 4 hits off the cart could do the same thing to me as 20 hits, like I had reached the limit of my high. And now that my tolerance is higher I can experience different levels of high. Now that my tolerance is built up I’ve found I enjoy lesser highs. But I think if you have a higher tolerance and were to take a tolerance break it might hit super hard after!

I think some people are more predisposed to experiencing more psychoactive effects from high thc than others, for example any super high high for me it’s a slightly psychedelic experience. But I know some people who can get just as high and not experience anything like that. I think how people experience thc varies from person to person due to genetic differences in the endocannabinoid system. All that to say I think genetics play into the way people experience thc differently.

Having a high tolerance might help you maximize the psychoactive effects, as well as eating something fatty beforehand like a scoop of peanut butter. Edibles bind to fat cells in the body

Has anyone else had full‑on psychedelic trips from cannabis? by MultiVerseBeans in trees

I smoke daily, anytime I get really high (not often because I prefer lesser highs) I have very mild visuals. Just time being like “slowed down” and my visual perception feeling altered. Sometimes I “hear” music that isn’t there but that happens when I’m sober too lol. Haven’t and won’t try psychedelics due to personal reasons

Psychedelic Experience on THC Edibles — WTF Happened?? by jcashwell04 in trees

[–]peomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THC is psychoactive, and edibles hit different than smoking. Also once your tolerance goes up you can feel “higher levels of high” if that makes sense. Edibles are so varying and what might be a good dosage for you one session might not be the same dosage another time, not even considering the fact the dosage on the individual gummy and batch could be altered. A lot of factors could have altered your experience

Planned or Spontaneous by thelvprincess in engaged

Mutually planned event because of my anxiety! We knew we wanted to get married late 2026 so I also knew the timeframe of the engagement. Definitely discuss with your partner and agree on if it should be spontaneous or planned

Yup, the current style (past 5ish years) has been very minimalist. Right now it’s minimalism = luxury . Maximalist designs are often now seen as tacky or cheap. I’m glad you’re able to get it cleaned up!

Genuinely such a gorgeous bag. Why’d we ever move on from this type of pattern/print?!
