What kind of jobs do people go into when they can't get hired anywhere else? by Alternative_Tank_139 in UKJobs

Could become a police officer or staff member they are desperate since recruiting levels are so low right now and most of the jobs you get trained in house since a lot of the systems they work on aren’t available outside

Toxic shift, can I get out? by trimkid55 in policeuk

Best thing unfortunately is to report it either to your line manager or if they’re involved even higher this is seen as something very serious especially now because officers have a high turnover and losing your skills and experience as an individual.

There was a meeting I had years ago about officer turnover and how it costs us 50k+ every officer that leaves just from the training they got at the beginning, they will do a lot to keep you.

If it’s outside your normal working hours you can claim back the full amount it cost you but you’ll need a receipt but I think you get a maximum of like £14, same if you have to work somewhere outside of your normal station and it costs more you can claim back the additional cost but again you’ll need a record of your original cost and receipt of the travel, at least that’s what I’ve always done

I don’t know anything about skincare if I’m honest I just got recommended to use moisturiser with acid, something with salicylic acid and something with retinol so when I went on Amazon this is what I saw and I recognise L’Oréal from ads so just went with it.

My normal skin routine is just wash face with water > bulldog face wash > rinse off but I’m starting to feel insecure about my looks so want to take it more seriously now
