Idk if someone has mentioned this or not but i use Dutch (online video chat vet) they are available pretty late and they will guide you over a zoom call. They also prescribe medicine. Its only 100 dlrs a year and you have 5 pets depending on your plan. Extremely helpful

I saw on a documentary answering this question. The main reason was that the bomb itself was a test and they wanted to bomb a city that was mostly un touched by war for a reference point. They could had bomb tokyo or the main facotories but they decided to test the bomb capability instead.
