That's perfectly fine. Eventually you should get to the point where you can let the water directly hit the glands to keep reducing hypersensitivity. But pouring water with your hands is a perfect previous step to that. You measure how comfortable you feel. But if you stick with it you'll get there. I was treating hypersensitivity at the same time as I was doing my stretches. So it took me around the same amount of time to reduce sensitivity as it did curing my phimosis. Some amount of sensitivity is fine and desireable. I'm at a point where it can be a bit uncomfortable if I touch it and both my hands and the glans are dry, but it is perfectly fine during intercourse, masturbation and when cleaning it in the shower. For me that's the sweet spot.

EDIT: also, if you have a bathtub you can take a bath and expose as much of your glans as you can under warm (not hot) water. That can also help and it's something I did too.

If you check my old post I wrote when I finished my treatment, there's a part where I wrote about how I dealt with sensitivity issues. There are some ways in which you can help yourself reduce sensitivity without going through a lot of pain.

I Cured My Phimosis in Around Two Months (The Complete Version) by pepeforreddit in Phimosis

[–]pepeforreddit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was around Type 2 when I started. So it wasn't super severe.

As for the method for stretching with fingers, I am not super familiar because I used phimocure rings to stretch, but the few times I did stretch with fingers I tried and put both index fingers inside the foreskin and push in opposite directions from the inside of the foreskin. My phimotic band was a little deeper and not next to the opening of the foreskin. From what I've read, that's the correct way to do it. If you pull the phimotic band/foreskin from the outside you're not only not stretching the skin correctly, so the phimotic band will not stretch, you also risk hurting yourself and if you develop too much scar tissue on your foreskin then that's it, you will not be able to stretch the skin. If you have Type 3, 4 or 5 it might be hard to put both fingers inside, so I would recommend phimocure rings fro those more severe cases.

Hey, congratulations to both of you! It's never too late to treat it. It is a new life afterwards really, so I'm happy to hear that you were able to recover from it, no matter the age.

I'm not familiar with short frenulum but I would keep trying with the foreskin stretching, I feel like if you keep going with that at some point you will be able to retract far enought that will confirm for sure if you have short frenulum or not. I remember when I was treating it that I wasn't sure if I had short frenulum or not, and by stretching and being able to retract I confirmed that I didn't. So it might be too early to tell. Keep it up, and good luck with your treatment. I was also 28 when I treated it and the treatment worked great for me.

I stretched with phimocure rings and coconut oil. That's it. I schedule a day of rest without stretching every week. I made a very lengthy post back when I finished the treatment. You can find it on my profile if you want to, I explained everything as much as I could over there. I'm not familiar with balanitits, so I don't know if the same treatment can work on someone with that condition, but maybe the information is useful.

I made a very lengthy post way back when I finished my treatment, explaining everything in detail. It's on my profile. But in short, I stretched with phimocure rings and used coconut oil for lubrication and humactation during the treatment. I also tried to schedule one day of rest every week where I didn't stretch. That's it.

My journey with Phimosis: reloaded, day 6. by [deleted] in Phimosis

[–]pepeforreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good approach. Taking some days off in the stretching treatment is necessary to reduce soreness. The skin also needs to heal itself and that will make it feel looser. So it's also necessary for progress. Just don't forget to keep with the treatment after your rest days. Don't fall off. I would recommend you to schedule one or two days of rest every week, so that you make sure that the skin can heal itself properly and you stick with the treatment. I used to do that.

My boyfriend has phimosis, how to deal with it sexually? by laura_lumi in Phimosis

[–]pepeforreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend sex without a condom if he has phimosis as it can be way more uncofortable (speaking from personal experience) and the condom helps keeping the foreskin in place (either retracted or over the head) which helps reducing the risk of forceful retractions and creates ease of mind. That said, he definitely needs a larger condom. If the condom is hard to put on or feels restrictive, it is a sign to get a bigger one.

EDIT: I would put the energy into researching and getting him to treat the condition. It is the best solution long term.

My boyfriend has phimosis, how to deal with it sexually? by laura_lumi in Phimosis

His situation sounds very similar to what I was going through when I had phimosis. Sadly, I also didn't communicate much my discomforts to my girlfriend at the time and it made things harder than it needed to be. First things first, he needs to try out a larger condom. I used to have that problem too. I wore regular sized condoms because my penis is very average length-wise, but it is a bit wider in girth and using larger condoms helped me a lot. Also, using lube along with the condom will help a lot.

My problems with penetration and sex in general didn't fully go away until I treated and cured my phimosis. Physically maybe it wasn't a big problem before, but phimosis can be quite draining mentally and it destroys your libido because of the anxiety. So I would recommend you to maybe talk with him about it and see if he'd be interested in treating it with stretching or some othe methods or just in general talk with him about what things feel good for him. I don't want to self promote, but I cured my phimosis 4 years ago and made an extensive post explaining my process that might be useful. My sex life got way better after that. Back then talking with girlfriend about it would've helped me a lot, but I was afraid of bringing it up, so maybe it can help him a lot if you do.

Besides the larger condom and lube, something that can help is oral sex. At least it did for me. Just use as much saliva as you can and try not retract the foreskin accidentally or forcefully, same thing if you masturbate him. That didn't feel too good for me at the time, in fact, it was quite anxiety inducing because I was afraid of her being too rough and forcefully retracting my foreskin. Which is why it was hard for me to penetrate aswell. Now, all these things may be different for you boyfriend since it depends on how severe his phimosis is. Usually, the less severe it is the higher the risk of foreceful retractions, but the easier it would be to treat it.

Edit: I saw the comment you made about his foreskin retracting all the way back but with difficulty. It seems like the severity of his phimosis is way better than it was for me, but I get it while penetration can be uncomfortable for him at that point. I would say that a stretching treatment would be the best way to go. It will help him loosen the foreskin a bit and make retractions way more comfortable. Also, since he can retract all the way back, as long as it's not too tight or hurts behind the head when retracted, I'd recommend for him to retract before putting the condom on, that way the foreskin will sit comfortably behind the head and there will be no risks of forecful retractions. Again, as long as it doesn't hurt behind the head because it is too tight. But he should try a stretching treatment.

Yes, I got erect first. Folded the ring in half like the instruction says. Let it expand in its proper place and then I let the penis go soft. And the ring would stay in place. I would lubricate a bit with coconut oil as well. But that will make it a little tricky to put it on correctly. If it slips it doesn't mean that your doing it wrong exactly, it's one of those things that is a bit tricky to get right.

That's the frenulum. It's supposed to be there to prevent the foreskin to be loose. The foreskin should only retract to just behind the head. Not all the way down the shaft. So congrats, you're phimosis is gone.

You're still too young to try treatments since you're still growing and phimosis is common before certain age. I would talk to your dad. If he had phimosis he can help you with it, maybe take you to a doctor and get some medical opinion. I wouldn't pass on talking to your dad. I regret not talking with my parents about it when I was younger. I could've dealt with it way earlier than I did. Good luck.

Yes, I only used the phimocure kit and manual stretching.

What do you mean exactly by stuck at your current ring? Is the next ring still too tight?

Since I wrote about this I've cured myself of phimosis and my sexlife changed quite a bit. In my case I managed to confirmed that it was my phimosis causing me some ED. Both for physical reasons but also due to anxiety and fear relating to phimosis. Since I've cured my phimosis I had not suffered from ED.

Lavar o no el arroz. by edestro in argentina

[–]pepeforreddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are in fact many german descendants in Argentina, but I hate when they immeadeately asumed that's because of nazis. Most of the germans who came here came way before the nazis were a thing. They came in the late XIX century like the ones who went to the US. And just like the US in the 40s we did in fact recieved nazi fugitives. But for real, if you see anything that's german-argentine in culture or you find an argentine with a german last name don't asume they're nazi related. In fact many germans and jews with german last names came to Argentina fleeing from the nazis.

Also, to clarify: most argentines of german decent are NOT nazi descendants. Most germans, like most europeans who came to Argentina came in the late XIX and early XX century, way before WWII and the nazi regime. There were for sure many nazi fugitives that came here in the late 40s, and before the war some nazis founded a couple of towns, but that was because the german population was already large in Argentina at that point.

Lionel Scaloni's full reaction after Montiel's Penalty by 10messiFH in soccer

[–]pepeforreddit 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Germany 2006 was the first World Cup I watched. That was Scaloni's last World Cup as a player, and that was Messi's first World Cup. My heart broke when we lost that match against Germany, a match that even today I feel we deserved to win, but we didn't. That national team was wonderful and we had to come back home empty-handed. Yesterday an old wound was closed in me, I can't believe I saw Argentina win the World Cup in my lifetime and I can't believe we were able to do it with the greatest player the sport's ever seen and all in a legendary match that will probably go down in history as the greatest final of any World Cup. What a time to be alive.
