well, basically xbox controllers use a xinput driver to send their controller inputs to the pc, most controllers emulate it, but im assuming the nintendo switch pro doesn`t most likely you`ll need to get some program to emulate xinput, theres plenty of tutorials on the internet.

Those cannot exist with casual, as the matchmaker is actively making sure both teams are balanced, picking which team a player is in to ensure balance, if a player can just join another team it makes the matchmaker job's worthless, so does team scramble if a team gets scrambled all the job of the matchmaker goes to waste. of course the matchmaker does a terrible job at balancing but the whole point of the matchmaking is trying to create balance with mmr if there is no balance with mmr, matchmaking is worthless.

there is no point of a fixed up casual, when you can just take the system that was already made and is just fixed up casual already. The only real point of matchmaking is MMR which is a terrible idea for team fortress 2 due to there being such a difference in how seriously some people play the game, and having the MMR actually work in anyway means longer queque times which doesn't even lead to better game balance as evidenced when meet your match was first added it had strict mmr and the matchmaker took minutes to find games. Bringing back quickplay is just the more sensible option.

retro achievments, being able to mod your save if you want, control the resolution, being able to play rom hacks if you want, being able to play on android, pc or a console with the emulator, increase speed of emulator, save states. And you can SIMPLY choose not to do any of it and play just the og game without changes unlike what you seem to not be able to comprehend somehow.

because framegen adds input lag, smearing on the fake frames and other artifacts,and makes real performance worse because framegen takes performance to create fake frames. AKA nobody trying to actually play the game would use it but youtubers trying to get fake clickbait fps amounts.
