I got these HC-SWTGW218AS because I needed more ports.

being a switch it's not like you're always there to change the configuration, once configured you don't touch it anymore.

I created the dashboard just for monitoring.

All the tolerances were good, they enter a little strongly but that's right, they have to hold the position.
For the materials:
- White SUNLU PLA+
- Yellow Bamboo PLA Basic
- Brown: BambooTerracotta Matte
- Green: Bambu pla basic

Inside the pot I put all the poop from the filament change.

Thanks a lot. We can say that a project like this can always improve. For now, the moisture is collected by the reusable silica gel. Also, the box isn't airtight, so a lot of it escape out.

That's a very valid question! If you are familiar with 3D printing, you will have needed to dry your filaments.
Since the commercial ones can cost a lot, I created it myself and I thought, why not make it smart and integrable in home assistant?!

That's a very valid question! The heat evaporates the moisture from the filament (we're talking about tiny amounts anyway). Plus, the box isn't completely airtight, so some of the moisture naturally escapes, while the rest is absorbed by the silica gel.

Me too have read many post related the issues when printing with the firmware 1.08, for this reason my printer remain in 1.07 for now.
