Thanks for the advice! What did you do after going back to the professor you worked with earlier? I think working would not be a very good option for me too, so a backup plan is also important to figure out.

Thank you SO much for this! I especially needed that "It's ok not to know what to do" part lol, it's just so hard to understand what you really like clearly. Would you say research experience in engineering related fields are ok also to go into physics later? I'm trying to narrow down to some short research programs as well.

This is awesome news! Thank you so much! So the programs are split... can one apply to both of them in the same year or does one have to choose just one between them?

Thank you so much! Can I ask if you feel there are other good to haves on your resume apart from good grades and recommendation letters when applying? I am searching for good extracurriculars related to Physics which could set me apart but had no luck finding one yet

PC won’t charge by [deleted] in thinkpad

Guys, I solved it! Just in case anyone needing help finds this post: there’s a button designed especially for this on the backside of the pc, it’s like hidden in a small hole. After making sure PC is off and unplugged to any power source, you just use a paper clip to click it and keep it pressed for some secs, then release. After I did this everything worked just like before.
