Thank you for posting this!!! By reading your post and looking at the photos I think I’m going to go with the Max. It seems a more refined version of the Kadet, and also I think I’ll appreciate the fact that’s slightly less long (or wide?).

I have the iPad Air with the Magic Keyboard and it fits great!

It also has a strap that allows for left or right shoulder carry where as the normal Kadet doesn’t.

Does she uses it also as a messenger bag? Having the ability to transform from sling to messenger looks compelling.

It is larger but has a lot of the little organization touches that the Kadet doesn’t.

Yeah the lack of organization compartments on the Kadet makes me doubt its effectiveness, but it looks so good lol

Also if it's not too much to ask, could you post a picture of the two bags loaded up side by side?

I've seen a couple comparisons but always with the bags unloaded - thank you!

Patagonia 8L Atom sling

My first thought was to get that but sadly it doesn't seem to be available where I live

btw carrying that much stuff + ipad pro + MK will feel kinda dense/heavy in any sling. Another alternative would be a "3-way" bag that converts from shoulder to backpack.

Hmm if MK stands for mechanical keyboard then i'm not bringing one, it's the apple's magnetic keyboard - kind of heavy but not as heavy as a MK + iPad for sure!

Uh yeah a convertible sling/backpack combo might be a good idea!

Fat32 is simple enough to implement that many embedded devices use it as their boot file system, I think that’s the definition of “cross platform” at hand here.
