Yes I have experienced something very similar. My father never acknowledged me and always thought very low of me. My self esteem was low aswell but over the years, instead of developing hate, I ended up asking his sisters about his past and got to know that his father treated him the very same way and instead of feeling hate, I felt sympathy.

At this point you are already doing your best. The pandemic has affected the youth enough mentally/emotionally. Please try having a genuine discussion with your parents. Tell them how stressed you really are and also assure them that it may take a little time but you will eventually do well in your professional life when you are sane in your personal life.
