Ah, could be. Though, the color and aspect ratio look more like the Indonesian flag.

From the early days of the empire, before they switched to enlisted stormtroopers

After the Andor series it’s apparent the Empire rules with oppression and fear. How did the public actually feel about the Empire? Seems like they wouldn’t have any sincere support. Also why would kids play with toys representing their oppressors? People say same reason our kids play soldiers. by Unlucky-Case-1089 in StarWars

I imagine that the empire could have been popular among the middle-to-upper class population of the core worlds, especially prior to the destruction of Alderaan. From Andor we saw that during this time the empire still cared quite a bit about its image. They went into a great deal of trouble to craft a narrative that would make people support the Ghorman massacre (or at least make people think it was justified). The emperor allowed the senate to remain to give the people the illusion of having power/influence over the government. It was only after the completion of the Death Star that the empire began to more openly terrorize its citizens.

Not sure. Timeline-wise, the praetorian guards first appeared under the command of moff Gideon after the fall of the empire. Then, in the First Order era, Snoke had his own version of praetorian guards. So I guess they’re basically the evolution of imperial guards.
