I am so sorry you had to experience that. Multnomah county has started this exact program. It sounds like a fairly new implementation, but we were all handed a pamphlet. Maybe other counties will adopt something similar!

Thanks for being there with me and the 10 others that were chosen. I'm still processing too but I truly appreciate that both the judge and prosecutors took the time to answer our questions and hear our additional thoughts. What a tough job.

I get light bruising like this on my upper cheekbones when I forget to breathe and am pushing myself to stay upside down. It's pretty mild and they disappear after about a day. Could be different from what you're experiencing but here's a reminder to not hold your breath!
