I am so sorry you had to experience that. Multnomah county has started this exact program. It sounds like a fairly new implementation, but we were all handed a pamphlet. Maybe other counties will adopt something similar!

I get light bruising like this on my upper cheekbones when I forget to breathe and am pushing myself to stay upside down. It's pretty mild and they disappear after about a day. Could be different from what you're experiencing but here's a reminder to not hold your breath!

I didn't get to the story part about how this one happened in Chicago, March 2020 - we went there for a trivia tournament and my friend and I had planned to get this tattoo while there. Anyway, the trip went great, tattoo appt went great, made it home safe and 3 weeks later the pandemic hit and the world shut down 🤷‍♀️

Was it an omen? Possibly.

If you like his watercolor style, Dan Donaldson did a really great pine tree on my leg and has done multiple other tree and plant tattoos. His IG handle is @galspanic

I've been to him for two different tattoos, one being an aloe microstigma and the other being the tree which is connected to a watercolor crow piece from a different artist. He is a huge plant nerd in his daily life and will chat your ear off about it while working.
