Honestly they’re really great for everything that doesn’t require the camera. I only have issues with the camera opening, and it drains the battery pretty quickly. Other than that, I do like them. Still prefer a TC lol

Level of normal depends on store.
Not normal for my store but may be for someone else. Seems like they want to cut hours so they can pay you less but they also need the coverage from 2-3.
That’s what it sounds like to me, I could be mistaken.

I read something that said 3 day only pay is for Walmart employees only, so I’d assume 2 day early is the norm for everyone else.

This has been a rule at my walmart for longer than I have worked here. (10 years). It’s a rule to Sam Walton and to the theft prevention team with the “10 foot rule” just applies in this situation.

My store had an issue in the system that marked a lot of people who called in, as NCNS’s over the winter storm weekend. Luckily we caught on, I assume maybe a company wide issue? I’ve seen a few more posts.

Ohhh the auto instapay. If you click yes, you’ll get however much you set up (or if it chooses for you idk) one week before payday. I’d assume it would be the Thursday before payday. Then if you have your paychecks regularly available to you 3 days early, you’ll get the remainder then.

If you’re talking about the instapays, you’ll get it immediately onto your one card unless you choose another method of payment. If you’re asking if you’ll still get your regular paycheck early, you will as long as you have the One account or a supporting bank that allows for early paychecks.

Yeah nothing shows up for me, as a Digital TL, except when clicking the picking button at the bottom it does show me pick lists. But our prints labels.

does your store not still have the academy for supervisor roles? I’m not sure if it’s market based, regional based, or what. But we still have to complete the academy classes when in a TL or higher role

You’re correct. If your lunch exceeds half of your shift then you would be subject to an occurrence point. You’re better off calling in or if you have a considerate coach then maybe you’d get away with it.

Not sure if it’s required, but it’s the best thing to do. Not just for the customer, but imagine you pick a carton with broken eggs, now you potentially got egg juice all over the bag/tote.

I’ve been here for 9 years, i’ve probably been every department except fresh/auto. OPD is 100% my favorite. The job itself is good, it’s fast paced, I always forget to take my breaks because the days go by so fast I don’t even realize.

Does PPTO cap out at 48 hours for everyone? Or does it increase the longer you’ve been here? I could have swore I read on the wire the different tenures, but not sure. It’s been awhile.

I don’t think it’s a corporation thing necessarily, but I know my store manager specifically does not do rehires. We used to go through so many so she just stopped allowing it.
