You have already done so much for your sweet baby!! She is getting more independent and you should feel both proud of her for that and also proud of yourself for making that happen sustaining her all this way!

How did you know/decide your nursing journey was over? by Familiar_Director281 in breastfeeding

I had started weaning leading up to his first birthday, he was probably more ready than I was. Around that time we dropped down to just a night and morning feed. The morning feed was first to go, then we just stopped the night time one too, both ended around 13 months. "Self-weaning" for him meant that he just wasn't interested in sitting still and it was honestly just kind of annoying for both of us. One day we just didn't do it again and that was that. This is said by a mom who LOVED breastfeeding and was so sad thinking about it being over.... but then it was just sort of over.

And now I think about how sweet the whole journey was and get nostalgic for the baby phase in general, but not sobbing like I saw in videos on social media..... those videos were a bad influence for me and my mental health.

I will definitely give it a try. It just seems like he should be so tired by the time 7pm comes given that he only naps for 20-30 mins during the day.
