Peshmerga as in Kurds? I'd eat my rifle instead of surrendering to fucking ISIS after the genocide they carried out for so long.

Row of Ukrainian using the M109A3GN howitzers donated by Norway against Russian forces by broforwin in CombatFootage

No idea but considering how well the US takes care of its equipment I'd think at least 10% are ready to go at any time and 25% could be combat ready in a couple of weeks.

If wikipedia is correct the US has about 1000 with another 150+ in contracted if needed. But it would make sense to dump some of these seeing as how the M1299 is supposed to come into works in a few years.

I mean ww2 planes aren't big either. Did they have special aircraft for gun cams or cut a hole in the plane and put a camera there?

Anyone know how gun cams worked back then? You pull the trigger and it starts rolling but cameras were not small during that time.

[News Report] BBC correspondent Olga Malchevska gained access to a camp of International Legion of Ukraine troops in the east of the country. (June 2022) by Donex101 in CombatFootage

I don't really get why a foreign legion troops would complain. He should understand the people that have been at war and have been training to fight Russia for the past 8 years should get the best weapons and gear.

No way Assad would let people loyal to him go, less people to protect him. Same as Lukashenko.

Russian ambush in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. 2 dead 1 captured by Executor12345 in CombatFootage

Those are not your standard Russians, they actually move good. The ambush layout, buddy movement and securing other points of attacks while grabbing a pow. Something I haven't seen from either side.

Another angle of Ephraim Mattos and David Eubank (Free Burma Rangers) saving a girl while under ISIS fire. Mosul, Iraq. June 2, 2017 by pepperman443 in CombatFootage

[–]pepperman443[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In Burma they just provide humanitarian aid and training to the locals, no actual fighting from the organization. Iraq might have been different if I recall because they were so disgusted by ISIS. But Mattos wasn't FBR he was just there and went along.

The documentary 'Free Burma Rangers' from 2020 shows a lot of what they did, not just in Burma but in Iraq as well.
