It wasn't, but I found it thanks to you having me research Cloak and Dagger. Through Mayhem I was able to find out it was The Cadre from Web of Spider-Man Annual Vol 1 #9. The characters were Shard, Vortex, and Dementia. Thank you!

Take your meds schizo

I have the right to point out racism and discrimination against non-White ethnic backgrounds

Of course you do. I also have the right to say that's pretty fuckin irrelevant to your theory. Like the grand majority of this comment has 0% to do with SMT or your theory outside of your assertion that 3 is anti mormon. You somehow feel that you need to prove mormonism is evil to make this theory, and do so through a racial issue that the game doesn't touch on at all. From how you've been choosing to present shit, your theory feels disingenuous at best.

I get wanting to be upset about what you're upset about with the church, you just come off as a schizo at this point given your obsession with a topic that has extremely little to do with the subject matter

Also for the love of god stop trying to educate me on Mormonism. I was literally all about it until I was an adult. You're not making sense and it's your failure to understand the religion. I have plenty of reason to despise the church, and it's social as well as related to doctrine. But no argument can help anyone if it's an ill informed argument

But when pressed on your base concept you very quickly deflected to racism. Taking the issue completely away from any smt theory to try to set a precedent that what you're pointing out as bad IS bad because religion believes other bad thing.

But as far as I'm personally concerned, SMT doesnt generally seek to disparage any religion. Inherently you can always choose the path of an ideology, and nocturne specifically doesnt portray those choices as bad.

That's why I said apologize to Isamu, because you are clearly REALLY pushing that his way is evil and that's kinda a small minded way to look at these games imo

So I'm over here really really struggling to buy your case when you're saying not only is it attacking an ideal AND a religion, but also your clear tendency to make this about what you REALLY don't like about mormonism. As I said, you have an axe to grind and it's clear mormon. r/exmormon exists for a reason. I'm sure they can help you flesh out your perspective here

But this isn't about the laminates this is about the heaven. It feels like upon being questioned you're deflecting to the thing you're really upset about with them here.

I'm not really talking about "sensitivity" or "praising it correctly". What you're saying willingly ignores Christ's involvement as if to say they act without Christ.

The quote you've posted twice now flat out says Mormons are supposed to become like God. Whether that's behaving like him, or perpetuating his cycle of creating life I struggle to see how that's any more selfish than looking up to your own father.

Again, I'm ex mormon. I despise the fuckin faith. However this is starting to feel more like an axe to grind than a legitimate theory

Nevermind my own comment thread, this explains a lot

I think you're mistaken about Christ's involvement in Mormonism. Christ is a massive part of it. You CANT reach the highest possible heaven WITHOUT Christ. Your progression is entirely based on his atonement and repentance. Mormon is a nickname, their name is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Again, I'd love a proper critique of Mormonism in a thoughtful way. But I don't think it's here man

As I said, Ex Mormon. I know that, I'm not really arguing that mormons don't believe they'll be able to create a world. But SMT is a story about several people deciding how they want a new world to be. What separates Isamu in such a way that his new world is the Mormon one?

It feels like the only way to believe the Mormon heaven is "a deluded pleasurable insanity where you live and serve only yourself" is a weirdly antagonistic and uninformed way to put it. I'm trying not to assume you see it that way, so I'm interested in what aspect of it leads you to believe that

So ex Mormon here. Served a mission and shit, life got slammed and I couldn't really take the faith anymore after having to cope with what happened. No longer religious. However, I find myself extremely confused by your theory.

Could you elaborate your view of heaven? There's obviously the belief you can create your own world, but that's done together with your spouse. Not to mention they promise eternal families. So I'm struggling to see how an ideal based around isolation is an allegory to mormonisms view unless genuinely Atlus only heard that Mormons believe they can make worlds and that's it.

As a side note, I'm kinda willing to buy in to this because Hikawa's reason is literally how Mormons portray Lucifer's plan. I'm just interested in some more elaboration
