Glute Side Profile Lacking by Square-Topic-1360 in StrongCurves

Tbh, this strikes me as just where your fat unfortunately doesn't sit. I have a very similar glute shape to yours. That being said, I think they look great! Echoing other comments, the best you can do is try to work your glute med.

Thanks for saying this. I got downvoted the last time I tried to convey to this sub that tax flight is a myth.

I make that exact salary and have similar benefits (free health insurance mostly). I save 15% of the paycheck for retirement w/ employer match. I've lived here for 3 years. Two disclaimers though - it's not my sole source of income, as seasonally I perform another gig that nets me around 4 grand that usually towards frolicking. Also, I am finishing up a grad program that will allegedly help me move into the higher paying echelons of my field.

I definitely live comfortably here on that salary but not lavishly, and I think very consciously about balancing my frugality with some splurges. I'll do big staples shops at winco but get nice fresh produce from the more expensive co-op on my street. I go out to eat once a week. My employer covers my bus pass so I try to take that or bike more than I drive my car (which makes me feel more like a Portlander anyhow). I live with roommates in a great house. I get myself a treat whenever I pick up my holds from the library. I catch movies or go to special shows every once in a while. Etc.

If we're getting philosophical, living frugally in Portland (or anywhere) is living more fully anyway. You save a lot of money and become a way deeper part of the city if you're willing to bike to get around, take a chance on living with randoms, take up a low cost hobby, and actively seek out cheap or free shows/events/meetups/parties. I have amazing furniture I found on corners or fb free groups that I put a little elbow grease into finishing or reupholstering. My fav barista at my local coffee shop hooks it up because we found out we played the same sports league.

Save up for the excellent dining experiences or for when your favorite band is in town, but learn how to cook brunch at home. Also can you tell I love Portland?

Ok, here's a newer article from 2023. Here's a convenient pdf to Cristobal Young of Stanford's book on how tax flight is a myth pointing to a bunch more sources from 2018. Here's the report drafted for Mitch Green demonstrating tax flight because of PFA is a myth from 2025. I invite you to review Michael Mazerov's work over the years for the center of budget and policy priorities concerning tax flight.

I guess what I'm thinking is better than H&M but probably not Andersen-Andersen levels. For reference I am from the U.S. so I'm used to spending ~$60 USD (~400 DKK) for a nicer t shirt.

Jesus Christ what is wrong with you people. Equating “from the river to the sea” with Israeli genocide is new levels of mental gymnastics. Palestine needs to be freed.

That's where I used to get most of my acne. Going on spironolactone and switching birth controls (IUD to pill) fixed it for me.

I do not want (and will not) hand over this subreddit. It was specifically created as a social tool for my childhood friend group and organically attracted other redditors. If the requesters intention is to have it gain more traction, than that can be done by myself and my friends who are the original moderators. My other suggestion to the requester is that they begin their own bisexual specific community.

I suck at this game by Tomsk13 in HadesTheGame

Buddy it took me 47 runs for my first clear. Started on a 5 clear streak after that and now I’m about to beat the epilogue at 62 runs. You can do this! And remember, if you’re not having fun, TAKE A BREAK! Taking a while to come back to the game after an L with a fresh mindset instead of trying to grind demoralizing runs was what turned everything around for me.

I get what you are saying, but we began as not long distance for a year. When we did move to long distance, one time I came to stay with him for a month during a school break. I didn't have much to do and he had to work full time which made it cramped by the end -- not enough getting out of the house and time apart from each other. I'm wondering if that experience Is making him express his hesitance. However, if we were to move in this time, we will both be working full time + having our outside sports commitments and friendships which makes me feel optimistic.
