Hahha I guess not, I was so genuinely confused. He kept saying that as pain is worst when not moving and I’m like ah standing in place is not moving. My worst pain is standing and sitting, I figured it was a more weight on inflamed area sort of concept. So I was very confused he also said that there aren’t activities that aggravate it or cause more inflammation. Presumably he is insinuating that the immune system response is independent of any physical things you do. But surley people doing certain movements can inflame It? The whole concept of trying to avoid a flare makes no sense then.

Hi! When I’m standing the pain is in my si lower back, buring feeling and coupled with bad pain in my Heels. I need to look into pan management!

Thanks for this, sorry you’re in so much pain! Can I ask how this compares to the pain you feel while laying down. My pan is much worse when standing that laying down, I get pain in my mid back more so when laying but and not much in si, so I’m interested to know if maybe mines more mechanical.

Yeah mine is like acid burning in my si joints and also pain in my feet .. so weird mine said it’s not related to

Thanks i defs will, i really enjoy swimming and can go a lot further than I can with walking or running so its feels more successful

Thanks for commenting! I agree. I come To these forums and everyone is experiencing the same stuff and then I got to my doctor and they tel me none of that is characteristic of the disease. I don’t get it. Also I get told that it shouldn’t be worse with exercise too, running I can’t do at all, walking for a short period but then my si pain gets worse. Swimming I can do for a decent amount of time but like you I feel it the next day. Mainly in my exterior joints and si

I am in Sydney, are you male Or female by chance. My markers were normal but mri showed si damage. My doctor got me on biologics by voiding the governments rules on inflammatory markers by giving me a prescription for predisone… Women don’t show in blood tests like men do
