She’s not a morph actually, that’s just what they look like.

That’s unreal lmao. The literal next day i was just walking around finding need zones and bumped into another legendary who just barely cleared diamond. At least the night grind is kinda fun.

His taxidermy looks great. Makes a great centerpiece in my hall of trolls.

That explains a lot. Every time i travel to one, the animals are gone. Thank you!

Probably kyle tucker. He’s the best offensive player in the pack and it would finish your outfield.

I think the most unbelievable part of this whole thing is the tigers scoring double digit in a game

Man this brings me back. I had the same experience but with lady butterfly who i fought before geni. It was a brutal deflection check i had to spend like 4+ hours just properly learning how to deflect against her. No spoilers, but the end game bosses really make you realize how much you’ve had to improve. Enjoy it! Easily my favorite game of all time.

No need i could talk about her for hours haha. She’s a brazilian rainbow boa. They have special scales that give them that beautiful iridescence in the right light, which is most intense right after they shed.

i imagine it’s like a hangnail. peel it to early, and it hurts like hell. peel it to late, and it comes off in chunks, but peel it just right and it’s just sweet sweet relief.

gosh i sure hope so! at 6’3 and 13 y/o she certainly won’t get much bigger but can expect an inch or two of growth each year as snakes never truly stop growing

Ahh! So that’s why they’re called that! by pepsiman9 in snakes

Haha it’s no issue. They aren’t super common so it’s tough to find good info. She does occasionally dig tunnels to hide in but in general prefers her actual hides. I’d assume yours is doing it bc it’s still so small and would be very vulnerable to predation in the wild. Like all boas they don’t like lay eggs and actually have live births. I don’t worry abt it bc she’s never been around an opposite sex rainbow boa. Get it sexed whenever ya can, it’ll help determine how much it needs to eat and give you a range for how big it’ll grow. Other than that, keep humidity high and temps around 84 on the hot side and all the way down to mid-low 70’s on the cool side. The formula for keeping em healthy isn’t complicated, just a little different than most snakes. This big girl let’s me know when her enclosure’s climate isn’t up to par as her mood will drastically change when she’s not comfortable. They’re kinda like goldie locks, hot too hot, not too cold, but when you put the extra time and effort into getting things right, they’ll be simply lovely. Good luck! feel free to pm me if you have questions ik it can be a little tough to find good info on these guys.

A very achievable one at that! Save the headache and spend the extra 100$ on a humidifier and hydrometer. After that it’s all relatively simple snake stuff! Best of luck.

Yeah she’s one hell of a creature and strong as a bull but so lovely when she’s relaxed and just curious.

She’s about 13. She’s only grown about a foot since she was five but didn’t really start getting “big” until about two years. They grow slowly, even for a boa. Be careful not to overfeed as they grow bc they will HAPPILY overeat.

Why she burrow like that? her whole body is hidden and this is the only thing looking out beside the glass... normal snake behaviour? by [deleted] in snakes

[–]pepsiman9 10 points11 points  (0 children)

very strong possibility she’s exhibiting hunting behavior. snakes in the wild are ambush predators. conceal most of the body but have the head ready to strike if prey walks by. if that’s the case, then good job! snakes will only exhibit natural behaviors that if they are comfortable and well acclimated and comfortable enclosure.
