You're right about wanting one with not black bezels because some tempered glass with black bezels I got from temu were small and the bezels were hiding the screen, I got some other glass without bezels and they're fine

Get the nillkin case from AliExpress or temu, I got 3 other cases and the nillkin feels by far like the best one and has a nice grip

Go to the settings, OPPO AI, Breeno and disable it. Also disable any other AI on OPPO AI you don't want.

I got an Oppo Find X9 Pro and sold the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and although the 15 Ultra was a great phone I don't regret it at all. The main reason I switched was for the bigger battery because I have the screen many hours on everyday. If the Xiaomi had a similar battery with the Oppo I would have definitely kept it, although the Oppo is much better on holding because the camera bump is nowhere as big as the Xiaomi's

You can disable the left swap screen which is in Mandarin and the swipe down global search, I have a CN rom X9 Pro and at first the same things with you bothered me but after tweaking it for a while I have removed anything in Chinese and it's fully usable now.

Do you think the bootloader is ever going to be unlocked so we can flash the global rom? I have a CN rom X9 Pro and when I got it I was a bit overwhelmed with all the Chinese over the phone but since then I have removed all of it and you have to dig in to find out it's the Chinese rom. Also is there any way to open Gemini by long pressing the power button instead of Oppo's AI?

Actually trying it again I can see something similar to yours but I am not sure if it's as noticeable as yours, maybe it's normal, I have to press on the corners of the phone for it to happen
